Ingredients: Golden Promise and crystal malt; Phoenix hops.
American oak is seamed with flavour, which Innis & Gunn unlocks using a unique style of maturation that imparts a light vanilla oak character to this fruity Blonde beer.

Crappy head, heavily carbonated gold body. Soft skunkweed aroma with some hops. Flavour is a sour mix of oak esters and hops, like sucking on a sugar-coated plant. Wow - this is totally wrong. The blonde beer does not sit well at all with the oak aging. If I was a grazing animal I’d like this, but even as an herbal beer it just doesn’t seem right.

Bottle, bought @ Bierzwerg.de.
Clear golden with a small, creamy, white head. Aroma is malty sweet, some citrus, light medicinal vanilla character. Medium carbonation, oily and kinda fat mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, light sugary, some dryish oak with a light medicinal touch. Fairly nice, dryish mild bitter finish.

Bottle at home. Golden dark hay-coloured with a small off-white head. Fruity aromas with vanilla. Richer than expected with sweet flavours of vanilla and some grass. Light to medium bitterness that last. Watery and silky mouthfeel. Overall an okay taste, but a bit boring.

Creamy vanilla aroma. Slightly fruity taste, with some creaminess to it, and a dry finish. No detectable oak to speak of. Overall, this is fine, but not comparable to its more heavily oaked brothers.

Sweet and very hoppy, floral aromas with a hint of honey on the palate, a formidable beer

33cl bottle. Clear light amber with a huge white head that disappears almost instantly to a thin layer. Very interesting aroma - vanilla, dough, marzipan, oak and toffee, - smells more like a dessert then a beer (pleasant though). Sweet with above average carbonation, slightly low body, stays sweet throughout - seems more like a mellow screech then a beer.

Bottled 330ml (BZ)
Golden color, small white head. Oak and vanilla, typical Innis&Gunn aroma, also some cardboard. Light bodied, fizzy. Sweet vanilla flavor, same time harsh bitterness. This is very typical I&G beer. Base beer is bland but has some sticky hoppyness which with vanilla overdose makes unbalanced combination.
