330 mL bottle. Translucent copper orange with almost no head. Strong brandy-like aroma with lots of oak as well. The flavour is very sweet, with vanilla and sherry. Nothing to suggest that this is/was an IPA. Better than it was a year ago, but still not great.

Bottle. Poured a golden colour with a medium white head. Plenty of oak in the aroma. The oak flavour is in the taste as well, some hops. the finish to me is all like a whisky.

330ml bottle, 8th Noc 08. Lots of oak and cream soda on the nose. Light amber body with a thick white head. Lots of soft sweetness but not the hop bite you’d expect from something labelled as an IPA. The oak flavour rather overwhelms the underlying beer and by the end of the glass you feel that a better base material would have helped.

slight vanilla and toast aroma. Pours a golden yellow, thin head. Dominating vanilla sweetness. Hops? Not sure how this is an IPA.

Bottle. Pours golden with an aroma of vanilla, smoke, caramel. I taste vanilla and butterscotch with some sour apple and caramel. Nothing like an IPA.

Clear golden-amber. Whiskeyish vanilla aroma. Low carbonation. Tons of sugar, again with light vanilla/whiskey notes. Kind of bland. Maybe some slight oxidation.

2007 bottle @ Rhino. Clear amber with 1/2 inch white head. Intense whiskey aroma is funky, funny, and fun. Soft carbonation. Sweet, overripe fermented fruits. Tastes like a whiskey mixed drink. Also lots of funky wood character. Super strange. Not bad but would like to have had this one fresh.

Bottle. Has the signature vanilla flavour from this brewery. No hoppiness and not really an IPA-just a trendy name to put on the label. Slightly bitter.Quite pleasant but not very inspiring.
