""""For 30 days this honey-hued beer sleeps in hand selected oak barrels, locked inside a bonded warehouse, gradually assimilating the subtle flavours that reside in the wood. Barrels are then emptied and maturation continues for a further 47 days in a marrying tun where these natural flavours infuse and fall into perfect balance. This 77-day process is unique and produces a delicious, refreshing beer: Aromas of vanilla and toffee, hints of citrus, with a malty, lightly oaked, palate. Deftly balanced and light in texture, soothing and warming in the finish.""""

Bottled. Honeyish yellow/amber colour with big offwhite head. Aroma of oak, hops and vanilla. Flavour is malty, oaky and also hints of vanilla and caramel. Finish becomes fruity and vanillaish. A bit too sweet, but otherwise very nice.

Pours tea-colored into a shaker. Bright white conglomerate head with excellent retention. Vanilla and whiskey aromas. Smooth with whiskey front to back. Different palate - somewhere between soft and crisp. Lasting oak, caramel, vanilla and hops finish. Slight alcohol burn.

330ml bottle, 6.6% a/v Pours a fiery orange colour with a slightly offwhite head. The smell is intensely citrus with notes of caramel and malt. Tastes malty with a whiskey hint from the barrel it is aged in. As brewgirlca said this beer could surely use more hops to balance the malt flavour. It is definetly a fine beer though!

A dark amber color with a sweet caramel taste. The oak flavor is not that notiable, it is a very pleasant drink.

Bottle. Chocolate/fruit/woody aroma. Pours dark amber with a decent head. Goes down smooth and absolutely no aftertaste. An excellent brew.

Poured golden amber, quite dark, with a strong white head. Malty caramel aroma with vanilla ice cream notes. Prominent. The flavour was complex - malty and hoppy, also quite sour and spicy. Alcohol evident in the finish. Very good. Very drinkable palate. Yes, a very good strong ale overall.

Light copper with disappearing head. Aroma reeks of oak and caramell. Taste goes the the way. Don’t know how to better explain it but this beer reminds me of soil and autumish flavours. Like a forest in october or something. Maybe I’ll be able to put it better if I have this once more.
