A very complex beer I thought, which combines alot of flavours into a very clean palatable drink. Intense aroma, and an almost immediate whiskey hit, followed by a chilled out vanilla and toffee mixture, with a long lingering finish, which is tingly. Pale copper colouring, and a rather good beer. Sweet sugary malt nose and flavor with hints of vanilla, oak and toffee. Light, crisp bittersweet finish. Excellent. MiP (9162), Sønderborg, Denmark

Aroma is faint, but does have a hint of whiskey to it. The taste has more than a hint of the whiskey, although it is still a bit light overall. It does go down quite nicely.

L’arome n’est pas impressionant, un peu boisé. Goût sucré, un peu alcoolisé mais plaisant. ChainGangGuy (2619), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 10, 2007 Appearance: Pours a clear, dark amber body with a foamy white head and great lacing. Disregarding the use of clear glass, the bottle is rather attractive.
Smell: This aroma is all about the whiskey. Soft touches of buttered bread, wood, and sugary vanilla are also evident.
Taste: The whiskey quality shows up as soon as you open the bottle, and as soon as it touches your tongue. Features some malty caramel, lemon, and pepper with a mountainous amount of oak in the flavor. Finish is distinctly wooden, with strong notes of vanilla bean.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Amply carbonated.
Drinkability: A singularly unique beer that’s best enjoyed slowly. french tickler (642), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada

Aromas of vanilla creme brule, old whiskey barrells, toffee, Worthers original?... Long dry aftertaste. This beer should defnitely be tasted chilled as per its instructions. You can definitely taste what you smell, just not as impressive. Extra added hints of maple syrup. Good bitterness. Miksu (2241), Jyväskylä, Finland

Malty and sweet aroma featuring vanilla, citrus and grain whisky. Sweet flavor of grainy whisky and resinuous hops. Whisky, pepper and woodiness in the finish. Distinctive but not overpowering whisky character.
