Aroma is moderate malty, parsley, pepper mint, oak, toffee, vanilla notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090408]
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 harrisoni (10070) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2008
Bottle from Sainsburys. Gold colour. Vanilla oak aroma. Pretty much like the other I&G beers in that there isn’t a lot of "beer" here. A lot of oak and vanilla, but the base beer needs to be fuller. I just don’t get these beers at all.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 TBone (9433) - Pori, FINLAND - DEC 15, 2011
Bottled 330ml (BZ)
Golden color, small white head. Oak and vanilla, typical Innis&Gunn aroma, also some cardboard. Light bodied, fizzy. Sweet vanilla flavor, same time harsh bitterness. This is very typical I&G beer. Base beer is bland but has some sticky hoppyness which with vanilla overdose makes unbalanced combination.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 yngwie (9205) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 27, 2008
Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a small off-white head. Sweetness, vanilla, cookies, some butterscotch and a light fruityness in the aroma. Vanilla-sweet and oaked flavor, fruity, but on the malty side, with malt, grains and butterscotch. Medium body, and a weak, short, fruity and malty finish. A rather unusual beer, but I liked it. Could do without the butterscotch though, but there’s not enough of it to ruin the beer. (080305)

Bottle, bought @ Bierzwerg.de.
Clear golden with a small, creamy, white head. Aroma is malty sweet, some citrus, light medicinal vanilla character. Medium carbonation, oily and kinda fat mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, light sugary, some dryish oak with a light medicinal touch. Fairly nice, dryish mild bitter finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 imdownthepub (7494) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 10, 2009
Bottled, 330ml from Sainsburys, Banbury. Orange amber with white head. First of all, I looked for the oaky, woody even barrel notes and didn’t get them, not unless a vanilla, caramel flavour comes out of them. But in its own stead, the beer is ok, its a light sweetish blonde with gentle malts. Rather overpriced then for an ok beer.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - NOV 30, 2011
(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized and minimally off-white foamy head. Not only slightly oaky malty aroma with a tinge of caramel, marzipan and vanilla. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a calm carbonation. Oaky and toffeish malt flavours harming potentially fruity notes; sweet and shy bitter, also still oaky finish with loads of vanilla. I am not a fan of this. 19.XI.11
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Bov (7364) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUN 2, 2008
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2008 courtesy of Laurent Mousson - clear bronze colour, almost no foam; estery nose, notes of pear and apples; slightly oily with a robust carbonation, very dry and bitter, some woody notes met the fruits in the finish - quite subtle
