[4036-20111023] 330mL clear bottle. Maple caramel and mild mould wood aroma. Clear, amber brown body with a quick foamy white head. Sweet caramel wood flavour hints at spicy turkey whiskey malt. Medium body. Interesting. (6/3/7/3/15) 3.4

Clear amber beer, good off white head. Softish and semi dry palate. Semi sweet beer! Soft vanilla wood. A little orange. Super subtle bourbon. Dry soft finish. Not bad at all!

Bottle at a tasting at Andy’s. Pours a clear brown amber with a small white head. Lots of little dirty flocculated yeast in there. Sweet and malty with a bit of wood and a caramel. Medium bodied, sweet and bordering on cloying. Long sweetness and a bit of wood again. Decent, but nothing amazing.

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2011 In bottle; great beer ... notes of vanilla and toffee. Nice body to it ... much better than I expected it to be (wish it was available all year)

33cl bottle. Pours amber with a decent head. The nose has ginger nut biscuits and crystalized oranges and muscavado sugar. The taste has ginger, oranges, The palate is medium bodied, good texture and a reasonably clean finish which is persistent. Overall, this is their best effort so far.

2011-10-23. Crisp dark amber orange body with a small beige head that fades. 3+ Flavour is fairly sweet malty profile, light bitterness and hops, creamy sort of vanilla like character that I assume is from the oak. The wood is muted otherwise and not overpowering like some of their other offerings. Hints of citrus in the finish, maybe? 6+ Light alcohol notes in the aroma, mild oak and vanilla, caramel. Decent but not entirely to my tastes. Bottle from LCBO
