A light and fruity beer with notes of candied apple and marzipan. The combination of biscuit malt and citrus hops tingle the palate only diminishing after the first sip to allow the signature Innis & Gunn vanilla and oak notes to shine through. Because of this combination of Scottish malted barley and mouth-watering zesty American hops, ‘Independence Day’ beer is a great partner to BBQ dishes.

33 cl. Clear orange-copper with a lasting thin film of cream on top. Nose is orange toffee, vanilla, a touch of lemon zest and dry grass. Tastes of lightly sourish orange and apple, earthy caramel, dried grass, toasted wood and vanilla. Near-medium body is tingly with medium carbonation and sweetish, but has a nice dry grass and oak finish to dry things up a bit.

crimson color, off white head that falls to a thick collar. subtle lacing. Candied caramel apple nose with some vanilla and oak notes. Forward fruity nose. Candied apple nose with sweet fruits in the taste, backed by a sweet caramel backbone. Medium bodied and medium carbonation. Sweet apple and vanilla feel. More like a Yankee Candle in some ways. Gets very coying sweet and very one dimensional. Booze really shows in the feel. interesting enough though

Draft. Woah. Buttery mouth feel, pleasant bakery-like aroma. Beautiful orangish gold color. I love this. You actually do sense the "aged" in a barrell part, too. If you see this, try it.
