330ml bottle. Pours a dark, reddish brown, with a beige head. Roasted, spicy aroma, caramel, malt, coffee, licorice, ash, wood, vanilla. Semi-sweet, medium to full bodied, medium bitterness, balanced CO2. Roasted, malty tast, caramel, licorice, coffee, vanilla, wood, ashes, quite spicy. Finishes slightly sugary, yet still quite possibly the best I&G to date. (2012-08-09)

Smells like sweetened malt. Pours dark, cola like. No lacing. Taste is mostly bitter ith only a small hint of sweetness. I can taste a little of the irish whisky. Has a littly boozy oak. Not bad, just a little overpriced at lcbo.

Davros (2448) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 21, 2012
Pours black with a large, lasting head. Nose shows some woody oak, sweet light malt, a bit of roast and faint caramel. Very sweet flavours with only a little roast to balance it out. Some oak shows through but not as much as their other beers. Could use more carbonation. Body feels watery for this type of beer.

Bottled. Pours deep, dark brown with a medium sized creamy, beige head, leaving a good lacing. Nose of slightly roasted malts, tobacco and whiskey notes. Sweet flavor with dark malt, vanilla, chocolate and again whiskey notes. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft to flat carbonation.Ends up more dry and with a little bitterness. An decent and quite injoyable brew from I & G.

Bottle.... It pours pitch black with a large brown head... The aroma is light roasted malt, sweet and some alcohol.... The flavor is sweet, some wood, light whiskey notes, some light warming notes and with a bitter alcoholic mouthfeel and a light bite feeling finish....

Dark brown, almost black. Clear. Has an off-white head, mostly lasting. Sweet aroma, caramel, some sweet, old-lady whiskey notes. Sweet flavor. Too much caramel and butterscotch.
