4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
11.2 ounce bottle. Poured out a semi-translucent mahogany brown with a thin wheat head. Appearance was more of a porter than a stout. Whiskey was fairly strong in the aroma with the addition of malt and wood. Taste followed in almost the same proportions. The palate was thinner than most stouts but had a nice oily smoothness to it. Well done.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: APR 6, 2016 Butelka 330 ml. Czarny kolor. Piana obfita jasnobrazowa o kremowej konsystencji. Pierwszy zapach uderzajacy w nozdrza to whiskey potem nuty wanilii czekolady i palonych slodow.

Taste is sweety, dark fruits, caramel, smoke, resin, some whiskey notes on the background. Smokey roasted malt aftertaste.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours almost black with thin head that rapidly recedes; no lacing. Aromas of cocoa, toffee, caramel, wood and molasses. Woodiness really comes through in the taste, but not necessarily in a bad way, just potent. Other flavors of dark chocolate, coffee, and molasses but they’re faint. It does get better as it warms though, flavors seem to become more complex and intertwine. Nice offering.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours a dark brown color with barely any head or lacing. The aroma is wood, whiskey, toffee, and vanilla. The taste is toffee, vanilla, and whiskey. The wood comes through a bit. It’s a little too sweet. Especially as it warmed, the sweetness got to be too much. It was okay.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
I would liked it better, if that oversweet (like artificial sweetner kind of way) weren't there. I think that was unbalanced. Else I liked it like every other I&G

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from the LCBO. Very dark mahogany pour with a small quickly fading tan head. Nose is quite light due to very soft carbonation (just this bottle maybe?) but has notes of toffee, wood, chocolate, smoke, vanilla and some berries. Quite sweet with toffee and honey contributing and some chocolate and coffee bitterness taking a bit of the edge off and lingering in the finish. Mouth is medium oily but quite flat. Nice flavour but carbonation is lacking.
