A 500 ml can from the LCBO Read about this in the paper , thought why not, now I am just thinking why. Nice enough lager , but nothing noteworthy. Rather light , plain Jane ,but drinkable non the less. Now who do I give the other can to ?

Bierdimpfe (338) - Quebec, CANADA - SEP 16, 2016
Bright pale straw color with a moderate amount of activity. Weak white 1 finger head that last no more than 5 minutes, and creating faint legs. Flavors of sweet malt, bread and biscuit, zesty lemon, herbal and faint floral spices. Roasted bread and faint grass. Slick medium body with excessive extra prickly carbonation. Light finish with a lengthy aftertaste of sharp roasted malt, sweet grass, and smoky honey. Syrupy but doesn’t feel adjunct. Overall good quality craft. Nice flavors and a satisfying finish. Refreshing and easy to down.

From can. Over-carbonated looking, clear gold. Nose of wood, straw, citrus. Tastes well over-carbonated, bitter, stale wood-chip flavour.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours clear golden with two finger white head. Poor head retention. Nose is bit malty and lager-like, but very weak. Very low bitterness, thin mouthfeel. Not watery, some malt complexity, but very subtle. This is easy thirst-quencher.

500ml can as a gift. 4.6% alc./vol. Pours a clear golden colour with a minimal white head which dissipates quickly. Aroma of grass, bread, and a whiff of caramel. Taste matches the aroma with a weird sweet and sour finish. It taste like watered down Scottish ale mixed with some cheap Eastern Euro beer. Sorry, but I&G should abandon their lager plans and focus on their signature oak aged beers...

Keg. Golden yellow with a lasting and lacing white head. Aromas of corn, grain, lemon and pale malts. Similar to taste finishing with a pithy, grainy bitterness. Light bodied, medium to full carbonation, firm texture with a soft to medium length and intensity finish.
