can. Poured clear light gold with an initially large white head that settles. Sweet grainy hay aroma. Light-medium body, average carbonaton, tart finish. Flavour of light pale malt, fairly dry with spicy grassy hops. Not a complex as other Gunns I’ve tried.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tall can. A rounded, mediocre lager with the trademark (cloyingly sweet) vanilla notes I’ve found in other Innis & Gunn brews.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clean yellow with light foam. Smells like an old European buttery lager. Tastes like it smells with a sweet butterscotch touch. You can serve a McDonald’s hamburger but it is still a McDonald’s hamburger. I&G might be the most pretentious brewery around.

bottle, Tesco Honiton. Golden yellow, white head. Malty start, some cardboardy hops, dusty. Not really convincing.

Rating #1096 - May 24, 2014 - On tap at Celtic Knot - 4.6%. I must confess as I receive, I’m wanting to truly hate this brew. Clear golden pour with a bubbly white head. . Aroma is fruity, grassy hops, sweet malts and grains. Taste is more of the same, cool, crisp and refreshing. Good session beer, and shattered expectations.

On draught at The Roxburghe - Edinburgh. Pours a clear gold color with fine-bubble white hear and constant bubbles. Medium body with big carbonation. Pale malt flavor, slightly sweet toward the balance but dry, cridp mellow hoppy finish. Nice.

Keg at the southern. Pours amber, far too sickly sweet, fizzy, some toffee, I now understand why the barrel aged beers are always sweet.

Scottish Lager Beer quite expensive on draft, a Malty aftertaste and quite heavy.
