can. Poured clear light gold with an initially large white head that settles. Sweet grainy hay aroma. Light-medium body, average carbonaton, tart finish. Flavour of light pale malt, fairly dry with spicy grassy hops. Not a complex as other Gunns I’ve tried.

Rating #1096 - May 24, 2014 - On tap at Celtic Knot - 4.6%. I must confess as I receive, I’m wanting to truly hate this brew. Clear golden pour with a bubbly white head. . Aroma is fruity, grassy hops, sweet malts and grains. Taste is more of the same, cool, crisp and refreshing. Good session beer, and shattered expectations.

On draught at The Roxburghe - Edinburgh. Pours a clear gold color with fine-bubble white hear and constant bubbles. Medium body with big carbonation. Pale malt flavor, slightly sweet toward the balance but dry, cridp mellow hoppy finish. Nice.

Keg at the southern. Pours amber, far too sickly sweet, fizzy, some toffee, I now understand why the barrel aged beers are always sweet.

Scottish Lager Beer quite expensive on draft, a Malty aftertaste and quite heavy.

500ml can. Purchased Sainsbury?s (£5.50 for 4 cans). Quite a nice lager with a very good strength of flavour. I will stick to my Schiehallion for now. Though fair play on the price, very much worth the money.

(Rating #5811)

Poured from 500mL can. Clear, light medium yellow with white head. Aroma and flavour are extremely light, bland sweet corn malt. Extremely subtle hops, almost unnoticeable. Nothing really bad about this except for how bland it is. If the flavours were ramped up a little, it would actually be a decent lager.

Single can at the LCBO. Interesting to see a can from this brewery. Pours a clear golden colour with a big frothy head, nice retention and web-foam lacing. Grainy malt at first pour with mild oats and the hop then kicks in (which seems to be commercial one). The hop also starts the taste (kind of adjunct) but the cereal malts balances things. Not a bad lager, and pretty far from their normal ales.
