can. Poured clear light gold with an initially large white head that settles. Sweet grainy hay aroma. Light-medium body, average carbonaton, tart finish. Flavour of light pale malt, fairly dry with spicy grassy hops. Not a complex as other Gunns I’ve tried.

On tap at Chip & Malt Newmarket, ON. Golden, caramel appearance with tight white head and lovely lace created by the etching in bottom of namesake glass. Nose is fruit, grain and yeast. Taste is malt and grain. Nice body for a lager. Smooth, but leaves something to be desired in terms of flavour. Somewhat bitter end.

Keg at Beer Kitchen. It pours clear lager yellow with a small white head. The nose is sweet, oily, sweetcorn, buttered cheap white bread and cracker. The taste is really rather sweet, oily, buttered white bread, straw, grainy, grass with a short finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Sweet and buttery. Very basic tramp lager.

Can. Golden with white head. Aroma of lager yeast, biscuit, caramel and cereal. Taste is similar, cereal, bread, caramel. Little sweet and a crisp finish with a long unpleasant aftertaste. The aftertaste is like the smell of stale beer when spilled on a carpet. A truly bad beer.

Fresh, malty aroma. The mouthfeel is thin, but very fresh. It has a certain sweetness that very much reminds me of Innis & Gunn Oak Aged Beer. Short, watery finish. Not very interesting, but still very drinkable.

Not a very strong aroma considering it’s a lager and from Innis & Gunn. Looks okay, with clear golden colour. Taste not very strong and not very lagery, bit sweet.

Bursztynowe piwo o puszystej i sztywnej pianie. W smaku pełne z przyjemną, chmielową goryczką na finiszu.

330ml bottle at home, 4.6% BB Sep 2016. Clear dark yellow, lightly sparkling, thin white head. Aroma is barley, malt syrup, sugars. Body is medium, soft carbonation, fairly smooth. Taste is wafer, salted rusk, finishes a touch woody and dry. Fuller flavoured than most lagers.
