2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle to a glass mug. Pours a yellowish / amber color, and an off white head that dissipates quickly. Has a strong skunky smell on the nose. The flavor is quite different than the nose, with a strong malty backbone, and sweet fruit flavors. Different than my normal routine.

Not anymore special than the other ’special’ releases. A dissapointment, butterscotch is the dominant aroma.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330 ml bottle. Clear honey copper, white foamy head settles and fades quickly. Fruity sherry aroma. Rich and sweet, smooth, fruity, malty, sherry boozy taste, some caramel and nuts, lightly spiced, a hint of oaky scotch. Soft carbonation, medium bodied, low hopped. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma : sweet notes of sherry and oak. Not much from the malts and hardly any hop aroma
Taste: like most their beers, almost all the taste is in the finish where the barrell ageing contributes to almost all the flavor
Appearance : clear gold body with low head retention

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
@ Havregatan. Flaska från Systembolaget (27:-). Trä, sötma, Sherry, len i munnen, fruktig, ek, lång avslutning. Det är väldigt mycket Innis & Gunn i den här, både i doften och i smaken.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
330ml bottle. Orangered clear body with a medium head. Dried fruit, wood, red berries, vanilla and almond. Almost no carbonation. Interesting beer to try, but nothing I’ll be missing.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
pours unclear light golden orange with a small light beige orange head, little retention, some lacing. sweet and sticky caramel malts, nutty touch, demerara, butter, spices, grapes, berries, raisins, pepper, chalk, grass, hint of smoke - nice scotchy character, thankfully mellowed by sherry-filling preceeding this brew, bit of booze. moderate to low carbonation, light body - oily, moderately sweet and grassy-spicy slightly tannic finish. smooth. some complexity. ok.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours clear golden-amber with a small white head and bits of lace here and there on the glass. Aroma is sweet vanilla, oak, figs, toffee, faint chocolate, clove spiciness, light scotch and moderate residual malty sweetness. Flavour is chocolate, oak, scotch, caramel, earthy and a mild warming alcohol.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear orangish amber with a small white head that dissipates into a small ring. Aroma of sweet dried fruits(figs, dates), wood, sherry and a hint of spiciness in the background. Taste is caramel, wood, and grassy hops and it is very dry from start to finish. For as sweet as the aroma is one would expect a bit more sweetness in the flavor. Flavor goes well into the finish and makes this a nice pleasant beer to drink but a bit more risky than most Innis beers.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
golden like a lager not a lot of carbinaton. Smells of toffe, butter, short bread, barrel and wine (so parts smell awesome parts smell a little sweety boozy ruff) The ale is like having a short break buttery ginger without ginger break cookie and basic malty innis n gunn beer the ale is good but the barrel and wine give it a spice a burn n the throat and some sweetness. The wine part is the worst part the ale part is best part. Interesting. cheers
