""""For 30 days this honey-hued beer sleeps in hand selected oak barrels, locked inside a bonded warehouse, gradually assimilating the subtle flavours that reside in the wood. Barrels are then emptied and maturation continues for a further 47 days in a marrying tun where these natural flavours infuse and fall into perfect balance. This 77-day process is unique and produces a delicious, refreshing beer: Aromas of vanilla and toffee, hints of citrus, with a malty, lightly oaked, palate. Deftly balanced and light in texture, soothing and warming in the finish.""""

Bottle. Pours copper with a white head. Aroma is strongly vanilla and toffee as well as butter. Notes of bready maltiness, but unforunately not very strong. Aroma is much of the same, but even stronger and no maltiness anywhere. Palate is medium.

Share with Bish but I had most of it. Supped while discussing hardcore with Gurd. I said Minor Threat, which surprised me as I thought Black Flag.

Oh yes, another Ruprai tick on travels. Totally shit beer though, almost undrinkable. Think Dom had most of it.

@ Havregatan. Flaska från Systembolaget (20:-). Bärnstensfärgad. Smak av honung, ek, vanilj. Nästan för söt.

Clear amber with a dense white head. Behind the metallic aromas I can pick up notes, of toffee, butter, oak, coconut and almonds. Burnt oaky flavours with notes of vanilla and toffee. Oaky and metallic finish.

An odd ale, the first thought I had on my first taste was coconut! I get the vanilla and caramel, but coconut is what comes to mind, quite heavy because of the sweetness, so a definite sipping ale for me, I prefer ales that are more malt like. Pleasant enough if you like coconut.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours copper golden color with medium foamy head. Good refreshing and well rounded taste. Notes of caramel, toffee, citrus, vanilla and a presence of wood. Sweet but not too sweet for my taste. Good refreshing beer for a summer day.

Bottle. Pours amber with small but lasting head. Sweet caramel and vanilla nose. Huge full flavour of honey, biscuits and tart fruit. Short but full and smooth aftertaste. Oak from start to finish, could drink all day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a nice golden color with a miniscule amount of white foam. Nose is sweet with notes of vanilla and honey. Taste is bold with sweetness followed by bourbon, vanilla and honey. Leaves a bitter but pleasant aftertaste. This isa really nice beer that has benefited from barrel aging, which has given it some character and a full nice full body.

Draft. Poured clear copper color with a large frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Good caramel and vanilla wood aroma. Medium body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a sweet woody finish of average duration. Very enjoyable brew.

Very clear brew with an amber colour and white head. fruit and esters in the aroma, a hint of sweet wood, slightly roasted oak and i get a somewhat corn like aroma as the brew opens up a little bit. on the palate it is a flat brew, having a really sweet texture and sweet finish. i do get the oak flavour but really disappointing brew and not worth the dollars. will not buy again if I can avoid it.
