""""For 30 days this honey-hued beer sleeps in hand selected oak barrels, locked inside a bonded warehouse, gradually assimilating the subtle flavours that reside in the wood. Barrels are then emptied and maturation continues for a further 47 days in a marrying tun where these natural flavours infuse and fall into perfect balance. This 77-day process is unique and produces a delicious, refreshing beer: Aromas of vanilla and toffee, hints of citrus, with a malty, lightly oaked, palate. Deftly balanced and light in texture, soothing and warming in the finish.""""

330ml bottle @Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo. Subtle wood and roasted aromas. Pours golden-copper, with some vanishing white head. Light to medium body, average to oft carbonation, slightly crispy texture. Taste is kind of sweet, with some nuts and wood notes. Sweet aftertaste. A bit dissapointing.

Love this beer, one of my favorites, great taste, full body beer, and great amber appearance. Perfection in a bottle

Bottle. Dark amber with a short foamy white head. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel and hints of vanilla. Tastes of strong caramel, lots of vanilla, sweet malt, toasted bread and soft oak. Body is medium with a moderate, prickly carbonation. Ends with more caramel and vanilla, sweet malt, toasted malt and light toffee.

Bottle. Pours a very clear copperish color with a moderately sized white head. Nose has a little skunk on it, and smells like a lot of pale lagers to me. Taste has a bit of that eerie sweetness to it, with a hint of caramel in there, but very subtly. Not a big fan.

Pours a slightly hazy honey color with a decent head that fades to bits of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, some vanilla a nd toffee, with bit of spice and a trace of oak and whiskey in the background. Taste is similar to the aroma with some caramel sweetness, toffee, vanila with a bit of spice. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Moderate body, crisp and smooth with just a bit of a sticky sweetness. Nice beer that goes down quite easy. The Barrel aging gives it a bit of a unique character.

(11.2oz bottle thanks to Steve Lindley) clear bright gold, very few bubbles. Nose of vanilla, sweet toffee, light oak, brown sugar, spirits. Taste is richer and less sweet, but oxidized, caramel, slight spirits. Medium to thin body, very estery wood finish.
