Originally marketed simply as Innis & Gun Oak Aged Beer. "Original" was added later.

Ingredients: Golden Promise and crystal malt; Phoenix hops.
""""For 30 days this honey-hued beer sleeps in hand selected oak barrels, locked inside a bonded warehouse, gradually assimilating the subtle flavours that reside in the wood. Barrels are then emptied and maturation continues for a further 47 days in a marrying tun where these natural flavours infuse and fall into perfect balance. This 77-day process is unique and produces a delicious, refreshing beer: Aromas of vanilla and toffee, hints of citrus, with a malty, lightly oaked, palate. Deftly balanced and light in texture, soothing and warming in the finish.""""

« american heartwood oak aged, brewed in small batches, carrefuly matured for 77 days prior to release ». Pas mal … Malt d’orge, froment.

Clear amber color, average sized white head. Aroma of pear, oak, vanilla, malt. Taste is interesting... Again, pears, very smooth and silky, no alcohol, malts, oak, honey. Medium body, soft carbonation. Slightly dry at the end. Good stuff, I must admit.

Golden/copper coloured. Aroma and taste of wood, malt, oak and hops. Taste is sweet with a light hoppy bitterness, but its not lasting.

0.33 l bottle from Alko Arkadia, Helsinki. Golden clear colour and some head, well, it looks like a premium lager. Taste is, however, something else - Belgian like sweet malty flavours combined with butterscotch with some bitter end. Not really from any hops but from the oak barrell it was aged in.
