""""For 30 days this honey-hued beer sleeps in hand selected oak barrels, locked inside a bonded warehouse, gradually assimilating the subtle flavours that reside in the wood. Barrels are then emptied and maturation continues for a further 47 days in a marrying tun where these natural flavours infuse and fall into perfect balance. This 77-day process is unique and produces a delicious, refreshing beer: Aromas of vanilla and toffee, hints of citrus, with a malty, lightly oaked, palate. Deftly balanced and light in texture, soothing and warming in the finish.""""

Bright Copper brown, Smell of oak, vanilla, caramel. Sweet flavor with some grain and wood. Drinkable but nothing extraordinary. Good vanilla though.

Bottle from Tesco; clear amber pour with a frothy off white head, aroma does have vanilla could be from oak or essence, taste has smoke, smooth vanilla, sweet caramel, some citrus action in the form of tangerine, I thought I would hate this but I don’t.

It pours slightly darked hay yellow, minimal lacing. The oak aroma comes through, also hay, tobacco, really smooth and with medium kick at 6.6%, surprised with the average score.

Bonito color ambar, escasa espuma. Aroma a fruto seco y malta tostada. Sabor sigue el aroma, tono dulce y malta tostada, frutos secos. Escondiendo bien el alcohol. Agradable.

Belle robe orangée, limpide. Mousse assez bien. Saveurs de vanille très marquées. Puis on sent des fruits jaunes et une note de rhum. La vanille et un peu trop marquée pour moi. Très, peut-être trop, douce. Assez longue en bouche. Une assez bonne bière.

Orange in colour. Aroma is super woody. Taste is dark rum with a hint of earthiness. Very smooth texture. A bit too sweet.

Clear, rusty orange colour, with no lasting head. Medium body and carbonation - nice on the palate. Some malt in the aroma but not much given away - the taste yields soft caramel, darker toffee, vanilla and rum-like notes from the oak. Decent example of the style.
