""""For 30 days this honey-hued beer sleeps in hand selected oak barrels, locked inside a bonded warehouse, gradually assimilating the subtle flavours that reside in the wood. Barrels are then emptied and maturation continues for a further 47 days in a marrying tun where these natural flavours infuse and fall into perfect balance. This 77-day process is unique and produces a delicious, refreshing beer: Aromas of vanilla and toffee, hints of citrus, with a malty, lightly oaked, palate. Deftly balanced and light in texture, soothing and warming in the finish.""""

Long time since i tried this but i remember exactly what i thought about it. The beer had some toffee in the taste and something that reminds me of butter, maybe it’s diacetyl, i really didnt like it. Light bitterness in the aftertaste and something.. chemical. Not my kind of beer.

Tap at Gordon Ramsay’s Burgr. Amber color with no head or lacing to speak of. Big malty, toffee aroma with a light woody dryness and dry apple. Taste is sweet with a light dry finish. Body is lighter and watery.

Lively, clear dark golden beer with a thin head. Aroma is hoppy with an edge of something I recognise but can’t place. Flavour is light, crisp and sweet and the same something I couldn’t pick out in the flavour is there too. Something from the way it’s matured in the barrels, perhaps? I’m not in love with it but it’s nice enough.
