The beer had some toffee in the taste and something that reminds me of butter, maybe it’s diacetyl, i really didnt like it. Light bitterness in the aftertaste and something.. chemical.
Not my kind of beer.

Clear amber with lasting rimming white head; aroma of sweet malt honey and notes of whiskey; Flava is sweet and soft but rich with notes of honey and whiskey rounding out with some fruity notes(grape?); feels rich medium silky smooth with nice fizziness mixing in; finishes semi dry and semi malty

This is a really exceptional beer. 500 ML can from the LCBO. Aroma of coffee on the nose as you pour it, a nice dark caramel color with orange at the edges. The head is about 1 inch and then dissipates quickly. On the tongue is caramel, toffee and some sweetness. Nice, long, pleasant finish. I would buy this again, but the alcohol is fairly high. Recommended.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Tom L. Clear copper color. Alcoholic aroma with vanilla, cake, cookies, honey, fruits and a bit of candies. Very sweet alcoholic flavor with malt, caramel, vanilla, liqueur and cookies. Way too sweet.

On tap at the Gordon Ramsay pub in Caesar's Palace, LV. Nice vanilla notes from the oak in both the taste and aroma. Good.

Bottle. I found this beer to be too "woody" and too thin to support the heavy flavors.

330ml bottle poured into a pint glass.
Clear amber color with a minimal white head.
Soft aromas of caramel, malt, some vanilla and faint wood.
Sweet malty flavors, with some smokey notes, earthy hops, toffee and lo-med bitterness.
Medium bodied, not very dry, somewhat creamy and overall OK, not great.

(Bottle) Clear golden / copper with thin white head. Pleasant aroma of toffee and wood, reminding me of whiskey. Medium bodied, with a lightly syrupy feel and nice bright carbonation. Lovely taste with notes of rich sweet toffee, oak and hints of vanilla. There’s a little bitterness in the finish along with hints of candy. Overall an excellent and slightly unusual beer.

Sample from a bottle
Pours clear copper colored with a small head. Aroma of malts, butter, hints of metallic notes and oak. Taste is sweet, stingy and syrupy with hints of honey and toffee. Finish is sweet and malty with hints of solvent. Not very balanced.
