""""For 30 days this honey-hued beer sleeps in hand selected oak barrels, locked inside a bonded warehouse, gradually assimilating the subtle flavours that reside in the wood. Barrels are then emptied and maturation continues for a further 47 days in a marrying tun where these natural flavours infuse and fall into perfect balance. This 77-day process is unique and produces a delicious, refreshing beer: Aromas of vanilla and toffee, hints of citrus, with a malty, lightly oaked, palate. Deftly balanced and light in texture, soothing and warming in the finish.""""

I must admit this is something different. That’s for sure. Still, I don’t find it very nice. If you like vanilla flavours in drinks with already a fruity character and if you enjoy whiskey.. Probably you’ll like this. Light/medium body, nice head that dissappears quickly. Not my kind of beer, yet I admit it’s different from others. Prost!

Bottle, 33cl. Clear amber colour with creamy, small off-white head. Malty, cereal, caramel, vanilla and pine. Spicey flavour, malt, vanilla, sawdust, oa, boozy dry finish. Oily texture. Soft carbonation. Either you hate or love it, I guess.

Bue en bouteille. Arômes maltés présent et sucre candi (peut-être à peine trop). On sent le caramel et la vanille. Une très belle découverte au moment de la dégustation.

Clear Orange dark beer, with a small foam head and good carbonation, malt notes of caramel, citrus and vanilla. Medium body, clear flavor, a little bit more sweet than it mean to be but pretty good at the end; some wooden notes make it special and really enjoyable.

Pint on draught in Edinburgh. A stunning pint with hints of vanilla, toffee and and whisky. One of my all time favourite made even better by being on tap on not just out of the bottle
