""""For 30 days this honey-hued beer sleeps in hand selected oak barrels, locked inside a bonded warehouse, gradually assimilating the subtle flavours that reside in the wood. Barrels are then emptied and maturation continues for a further 47 days in a marrying tun where these natural flavours infuse and fall into perfect balance. This 77-day process is unique and produces a delicious, refreshing beer: Aromas of vanilla and toffee, hints of citrus, with a malty, lightly oaked, palate. Deftly balanced and light in texture, soothing and warming in the finish.""""

I must admit this is something different. Thatís for sure. Still, I donít find it very nice. If you like vanilla flavours in drinks with already a fruity character and if you enjoy whiskey.. Probably youíll like this. Light/medium body, nice head that dissappears quickly. Not my kind of beer, yet I admit itís different from others. Prost!

Bottle @ Bothy Bar, Mac Donald Hotel, Kinlochleven. Amber colour, white foam. Soft carbonation. Aroma of caramel and tropical fruits. Light hints of oak and honey. Little bit tart with sweet hints. Watery. Nothing special.

Bottle at party. Poured a dark orange with a slight head. Smells slightly of butter and sweet honey. Tastes mildly sweet and engaging. Fair

Caramel, vanilla, wood and some fruits in the aroma. Amber with a off-white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body with a average carbonation. Overall a interesting ale, drinkable.

A rich golden colour with a slight white top. Tastes of malt, toffee and oakwood. A buttery, medium body. Certainly an interesting beer that you canít really go calling bland in any way.

Bottle from Alko. Golden color and small head. Vanilla, caramel and oak in aroma. Taste is quite sweet with same elements as in aroma. A bit soapy flavor also.

From a bottle in Airth, Scotland. I had the rum finish in Vegas but never rated it. I loved it so I started seeking these out when I got to the UK. I have more to try. This one was not as good but just as interesting. The oak and vanilla were there but in a much more mild form. I really like this brand.

Tap. Interesting beer--a unique yeast quality brings out the good bready, sweet malts. Almost refreshing.

2014.08 - gedeeld flesje van 33cl (met dank aan Cis/Inge), mooie aantrekkelijke lay-out - helder koperkleurig bier, onaantrekkelijk wit schuimpje - neus : vanille en mout - mond : vanille, licht zoet, tikje bitter

Ok öl. Är en bra ingångs öl för att få folk intresserade av annat än lager. Men inte så kul. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl bottle. Clear golden colour with almost no head. Oak, malts and caramel in the aroma. Average carbonation and light body. Taste is more sweet than bitter with some liquor notes. Overall, not bad but boring beer.
