""""For 30 days this honey-hued beer sleeps in hand selected oak barrels, locked inside a bonded warehouse, gradually assimilating the subtle flavours that reside in the wood. Barrels are then emptied and maturation continues for a further 47 days in a marrying tun where these natural flavours infuse and fall into perfect balance. This 77-day process is unique and produces a delicious, refreshing beer: Aromas of vanilla and toffee, hints of citrus, with a malty, lightly oaked, palate. Deftly balanced and light in texture, soothing and warming in the finish.""""

Bottle (330ml): clear bottle, clear copper color. This is an easy drying King Scottish ale. Fairly light.

A soft and sweet malt nose. The taste is honey oak and vanilla. There is almost no hop presence and the malt is also sweet, adding to the one-sidedness of the taste profile. A touch insipid for my taste in beer.

From Hipercor. In Ikea’s pint glass. Playing Goodbye Deponia. Not a kind of beer I like but at least I could finish this one without as much disgust as the tennents one, so it must be better. No foam and nasty colour

Barwa jasno bursztynowa. Piana biała ale szubko opada. W aromacie nuty słodowe, lekka vanilia i winogrono. Bardziej nuty herbaciane i ciasteczkowe. W smaku słodowe. pojawią się nuty dębowe, vanili, whisky.

Piana niska, sycząca, szybko opada praktycznie do zerai. Barwa jasno bursztynowa, klarowna. Aromat przyjemny - toffi, owoce (brzoskwinia, winogrono, czereśnia, truskawki), delikatne nutki whisky i wanilii. W smaku pierwszy łyk lekko słony, mocno nagazowany, po chwili czuć miodowo-karmelową słodycz, wyraźne posmaki Johny Walkera tudzież Jacka Danielsa, wanilia, niewielka herbaciana goryczka. Piwo wygląda i smakuje jak Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey!!! Ewidentnie dla sympatyków tego właśnie trunku :)

A: Lots of whiskie! Delicious!!! A: Real good pale ale colour. Golden and clear. The head is white and frothy. T: Dry. The wood is remarkable. Medium sourness. P: Medium body and creamy. The carbonation is average. And the finish is astringent. O: Lovelly beer. I’m really mad because I don’t remember where did I bought this bottle!!

Plutôt douce, au goût d’alcool et de whisky, plutôt pas mal, mais je ne réessayerai pas.

330ml bottle bb?, Netto DK at half the ransom at my local tabacconist. - Smells like new furniture and vanilla cantuccini. Taste quite clean and precise, almost artificially so (pasteurisation?), mostly dry vanilla sugar and some fruitier esters. Quite easy drinking, but really missing some yeast-powered character here.

Bottle. Fizzier start than I expected. Hop aroma is a little earthy. Light waft of toffee and honey aromas. Vanilla is very feint. Dense off-white head, not too persistent. Very handsome deep golden colour. Clear. Nice beading. More caramel in flavour, a clear malt backbone, but nicely balanced with a pleasant bitterness. Lighter in body than I expected.

Foam subsides nice and close to the glass and smell of vanilla is not to be mistaken. The smell also though of fresh oak, some caramel and slightly smoky. The taste is very special. I have never tasted anything like this amazing brew before. It tastes wonderful of vanilla, slightly citrus and fresh newly carved oak. During the fermentation is added a little honey, which gives it a good sweet balance. The finish is long and pleasantly bitter.
