""""For 30 days this honey-hued beer sleeps in hand selected oak barrels, locked inside a bonded warehouse, gradually assimilating the subtle flavours that reside in the wood. Barrels are then emptied and maturation continues for a further 47 days in a marrying tun where these natural flavours infuse and fall into perfect balance. This 77-day process is unique and produces a delicious, refreshing beer: Aromas of vanilla and toffee, hints of citrus, with a malty, lightly oaked, palate. Deftly balanced and light in texture, soothing and warming in the finish.""""

Nice looking bottle and label, seems strange to put it in clear glass bottle.I hope it is not sun-struck. Pours Amber, halcyon, and unclouded. Small ,dense ivory coloured head. The nose is both sweet and oakish, a back ground of hops and banana and citrus, sort of a weird combo but it works. Taste is agreeable and mellow, almost cream like in texture on first sip.Caramel, vanilla and yes, oak, come through strongest followed by the carbonation and a earthy bitter grass/lemon taste.the transition back to unctuous is not that smooth, but the finish is thick on the tongue and very candy like. This is a good beer, worth our time to find and try.

On tap at Bag of Nails. Pours clear brownish-orange with a small white head that doesn’t last or lace. Aroma is malt and oak. Taste is sweet caramel malt, toffee, vanilla and tobacco. Not much hoppiness. Decent, but nothing to write home about.

Bottle. Clear amber to yellow color, fading white head. Intense vanilla and bourbon aroma, vanilla and toffee, reminds me of a bourbon cask aged scotch. Light taste, decent sweetness, very low bitterness, lightly sour, slightly astringent. Medium texture, average low carbonation. More vanilla and toffee in the aftertaste. My first entry into wood aged beer, very pleasant, very promising.

Birthday beer at the Rhu Cafe. Another winner from this brewery. Malty sweet start with nice hopping. The ABV is certainly there to support the maltiness. Then there is the vanilla which runs as a silky scarf around the experience. Great to see this in the Cafe.

Bottle 0.33 l, Piwnica, Worcław, Poland.
Złote piwo z obfitą i puszystą pianą oraz słodowym, lekko drewnianym i alkoholowym aromacie. W smaku lekko wodniste, początkowo trochę słodowe, minimalnie miodowe, lekko leśne z alkoholową goryczką i rozgrzewającym finiszem.

500 ml bottle poured at home. Pours an orange/amber color with a white head that dies quickly. Smells sweet; first thought was honey but some grassy aroma as well. Taste is sweet, almost sickly. Honey and a bit of alcohol to round it out. Little bit of carbonation. Not what I was expecting; I had this before and had anticipated much more bitterness. Still it’s drinkable.

33cl bottle bought from local liquor store. Pours clear orange with small diminishing white head, no lacing. Light to medium body, smooth almost watery texture, bitter sweet finish with light aftertaste. Aromas not as rich as I would expect. Caramel, toffee, honey, oak, vanilla, toasted malts, light bitterness, some sourness resembling apple cider, hints of citrus. Decent ale.

Brilliant amber color. Almost no head with minimal lacing, but very bubbly. Tasty aroma and flavor of smoky toffee, almost bread like, but more on the bitter side with a pleasant fruity citrus sensation. Warming rich and almost creamy. Prickly and a bitter mouthcoating finish but well intensified. Ending with a nice smoky aftertaste. Very good beer overall, great unique fresh smoky feel.

butelka, Pod Mosteczkiem. Przejrzyste, jasne, z kiepskawa piana. Aromaty glownie slodkawe (miodowo-karmelowe, toffi, moze faktycznie w tle dalekim wanilia, niekiedy alkohol a la whiski). W smaku rpwniez slodkie, pojawiaja sie jakies delikatne utki owocowe, pozatem to co w aromacie, nieco lepkawe w ustach, dosc ciezkie, z goryczka odalkoholowa. Moze poza miodowo-karmelowymi klimatami - reszta bardzo stonowana. Beczki a la drewno nie czuc. sumarycznie - rozczarowanie, ale bez jakichs tragedii
