The aroma is buttery with toffee, rum barrels, vanilla, and spice. The appearance is amber gold with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is well carbonated. Overall I like this very much.

From the 11.2 fl. oz. bottle. It pours an attractive medium amber-copper with a long lasting small head. The aroma is of malts, rum barrels, and licorice. The body is medium. The flavor is a bit more spicy than the aroma leads you to believe with notable spices such as pepper. It definitely has the Innis & Gunn signature with a twist.

Draft at Mad Mex Robinson. Pours brown with a thin white head. Slight rum on the nose. A bit more run on the tongue but it was more faint then expected. I didn’t get a lot of the other spices. Eh!

Clear red orange color with virtually no lacing. Musky aroma with slight vanilla notes (probably from the oak aging). Somewhat creamy palate with a crisp finish. Light bodied overall. It’s OK.

Veary little carbination and only on left side. As I draw the beer in I taste vanilla & toffee, then it gos a light stickyness, some woody okay taste and no wetness. Bottle from Capone’s. Pours translucent copper with 3-finger creamy, uniform off-white head that laces well. Nose is toffee, oak, spicy spirity, and malty. Tastes very malty, woody and spirity, with some mid-palate spices, fruit, and caramel. Finishes oaky, spicy, and malty.

330ml clear bottle in box. Golden colour, clear. Very white cap, a few streaks of lacing. Nose has toffee, vanilla, light whiff of alcohol. Taste has butterscotch, toffee chips, vanilla. Finish dries out a bit, some woody notes. Aftertaste, a bit woody, fairly plain, minimal spice notes reveal themselves very late. Medium body with a bit of a creamy mouthfeel, level feel to the carbonation. Drinkable for a 7.4% abv brew, but not much depth, rum notes seem pretty minimal.
