COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This limited bottling of I&G has been aged with spiced rum oak chips. The result is absolutely delicious, bursting with the flavours of Caribbean spices along with our signature notes of vanilla, toffee and oak.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours clear copper with some transient beige bubbles. Aromas of rum spice, mild treacle and arguably oak. Med body. Flavor is a bit of vanilla, rum spice, and a touch of treacle in the finish. Arguably finishes dry. There is a little bit of oak astringency in the very end. I tend to like these funny beers. But then I like Newcastle Brown too.

Bottle from LCBO. Pours crystal clear amber with a thick frothy white head - gorgeous. Fruit, rum, sugar, tea, and vanilla dominate the aroma. The taste is quite mild - fruit, vanilla, toffee, with a big rum aftertaste. Good body and carbonation. Nothing really wrong with this, but it’s quite plain; it seems by adding the "spiced" into the mix, they’ve dulled down the rest of the beer - the regular "rum aged" version is better.

Pours a clear amber with a small quickly disappearing white ring. Aroma is the traditional I&G toffee oak with a sweet rum. Taste is sweet toffe and butterscotch with a dry oak mouthfeel. A small spice rum finish with the sweet rum.

Malty and oaky nose. Pale copper pour. Oak, rum, malts. Good but considering how great the original rum cask is this is disappointing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The aroma is buttery with toffee, rum barrels, vanilla, and spice. The appearance is amber gold with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is well carbonated. Overall I like this very much.

From the 11.2 fl. oz. bottle. It pours an attractive medium amber-copper with a long lasting small head. The aroma is of malts, rum barrels, and licorice. The body is medium. The flavor is a bit more spicy than the aroma leads you to believe with notable spices such as pepper. It definitely has the Innis & Gunn signature with a twist.

Bottle. Sits in its clear bottle an amberish color and pours with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of rum, vanilla, some coconut, and some wood. Tastes of vanilla, wood, caramel, rum, and some spices.

Draft at Mad Mex Robinson. Pours brown with a thin white head. Slight rum on the nose. A bit more run on the tongue but it was more faint then expected. I didn’t get a lot of the other spices. Eh!

Moderate malt and light rum aroma. Clear orange color with a medium tan head. Mild beginning with a strong rum alcohol finish.
