This limited bottling of I&G has been aged with spiced rum oak chips. The result is absolutely delicious, bursting with the flavours of Caribbean spices along with our signature notes of vanilla, toffee and oak.

Lots of rum and plenty of vanilla really come through on this exceptional offering from Innis & Gunn. Got it at Baruni’s in Baden, PA as a 12 oz bottle.

This limited brew is a complex one. From the first sip, you can taste the spiced rum, along with notes of vanilla. A complex taste and a perfect sipping beer.

bottle from Bev Co. Pours translucent copper with 3-finger creamy, uniform off-white head that laces well. Nose is toffee, oak, spicy spirity, and malty. Tastes very malty, woody and spirity, with some mid-palate spices, fruit, and caramel. Finishes oaky, spicy, and malty. worth the price

Clear, 330ml bottle. Amber brown color, creamy foam small tan bubbles. Aroma of Scotch. Musty, alcoholic oak, sour malts, vanilla wood. Flavor of oak, heavy tannins, sweet butterscotch (the good kind), sweet malts. Not muh rum character, mostly oak. (3569)

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into the Innis and Gunn tulip. The appearance was a nice hazy brown color with some light red tinges around the edges of the glass. There was a decent one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a million. There was a moderate amount of white foamy lacing trickling down the glass. The smell had a nice toasted oaky vanilla to glaze over top of a light rum. The taste was sweet and oaky along with the rum but not in an overly boozy way. On the palate, this one sat right at medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionable aspect about it. The carbonation was pretty smooth. Overall, this was a pretty good beer worthy of coming back to.

12oz bottle poured into snifter. Light brown color with a thin bubbly head. Creamy texture with hints of rum, oak, vanilla and cream in the aroma. Flavor is slightly malty and creamy. A very good showing here.

Ingen skumkrona, mörkare än normal ale, men samma avslagna "munkänsla" som engelsk real ale. Maltig, söt sirapsmak, men ingen rom i eftersmaken. Väldigt lättdrucket för att vara 7,4%!

Pours a clear deep red with a small. All white ring. Aroma of rich caramel, creamy pudding, baked apples, pears, vanilla and oak. Taste is biscuit, caramelized fruits like pear and apple with cinnamon spice like spiced rum. Also a bit of oak and lychee on the finish from the hop bitterness. Excellent oak aged Scottish export ale.
