12 oz. bottle from the Beer Store, Nashua, NH. Pours clear copper with creamy, bubbles of white head. Nose is indeed spiced rum. Starts off with oak, butterscotch and vanilla upfront turning to water downed rum in the finish. To me it tastes like if you let a few ice cubes melt in a half glass of Bacardi. I do like rum but this really isn’t my thing.

Lots of rum and plenty of vanilla really come through on this exceptional offering from Innis & Gunn. Got it at Baruni’s in Baden, PA as a 12 oz bottle.

Bottle, from Tesco Grimsby. Deep gold, thin shortlived creamy coloured head, low condition. Sweet and woody in the nose with hints of toffee and grainy malt, quite bitter and woody initially in the mouth with some sweetness quickly emerging giving hints of toffee and caramel, long woody finish laced with caramel and vanilla sweetness and some retronasal whisky spirit notes

From notes: Poured clear amber with a touch of red in it and a small, thin bone-colored head. Mild aromas of vanilla and wood, but also was kind of skunky. Body is thin, with a slight oilyness. Flavor of vanilla and mild spice, with a woody note beneath that lingers in the finish. Also a touch skunky in taste, might have gotten a bad bottle.

bottle from Bev Co. Pours translucent copper with 3-finger creamy, uniform off-white head that laces well. Nose is toffee, oak, spicy spirity, and malty. Tastes very malty, woody and spirity, with some mid-palate spices, fruit, and caramel. Finishes oaky, spicy, and malty. worth the price

Very similar to the Rum Finish, just a higher abv. Nice very aromatic vanilla, spices, malts. Matly spicy taste. Good.

A nice smooth, and flavourful beer. Pours a nice tan colour with vanilla and some spice aroma...flavours are sweet vanilla and oak...some spice with a nice rummy finish. I like it.

Draft... Pours clear and amber with a small, fizzy, white head. The restrained bouquet furnishes light notes of caramel, oak and toasted almonds. Light to medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The flavor is sweet and reminiscent of Amaretto with a touch of vanilla, but vastly watered-down. Finishes crisp and moderately sweet. Yet another technically flawless, but boring as Hell offering from Innis & Gunn.
