COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This limited bottling of Innis & Gunn has been finished over oak infused with Caribbean Spiced Rum. The result is absolutely delicious, bursting with the flavours of Caribbean spices along with our signature notes of vanilla, toffee and oak.

Bottle. Why describe it-- you can see for yourself through the clear bottle. Sigh. Okay, I’m not going to gie this much of my time. It iss overly sweet and rummy, and just not my thing. The rum casks are my least favourite from a brewerry that has only a few decent outputs for me. I suppose it will find its fans, but I’m not counted among them. Just too sweet and rummy.

Pours dark amber with a large head. Nose shows lots of toffee and butterscotch along with vanilla and soft spiced apple. Very sweet-smelling. Equally sweet flavours. Maybe too sweet. More butter, butterscotch and toffee. Incredibly sweet. Could use a lot more carbonation.

Scopey (6812) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2013
Bottle at CGarvie Tasting. It pours clear amber with a quickly dissipating white head. The nose is toffee, spice, honey, earth and candy floss. The taste is earth, honey, icing sugar, rum, faint vanilla, brown bread and alcohol. Light-medium body and low carbonation. No real depth of flavour. Forgettable.

Bouteille 330 ml. 7.4%.

Ontbeertaster (2338) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 4, 2013
Bottle, pour is a clear amber, the flavour is very strong in terms of woodiness, it doesnt have much in the way of a rum flavour. But it is nice and enjoyable.

Pours amber with light coloured thin dissipating head. Aroma is a bit of spice, oak. Flavour is caramel, spice, and vanilla, interesting to try but the actual beer is kind of bland.
