330 ml bottle. A clear, deep golden body with an off-white head. Aroma has vanilla and some butterscotch, but the level of butterscotch feels pretty OK in this one. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, wood, vanilla, hint of spices and not much bitterness. Medium body and decent aftertaste. Not bad, a bit too sweet, almost a bit dessert like and would probably work as an after meal drink.

Some cabbage notes blend with sweet and spicy rum and vanilla in the nose. Clear deep golden body is topped by a shy, white, rapidly diminishing head that leaves just a ring. The flavour is quite sweet but drinkable with the spiced rum pleasantly apparent. Medium light body with moderate carbonation. Bottle. Flute. Fridge temperature.

Flaske 0,33l Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. Drukket på RV124 4 Feb 14. Gyldenbrun. Middels høyt luftig skum som varer en stund. Forsiktig aroma av rom. Smaken er uttynnet rom. Hint av pepper. Kunstig helhetsinntrykk.

Smells of vanilla with some oak aromas and some loww quality rum. Im thinking probably bacardi or captain morgans casks. Pours pissy clear and rum looking. Some foamy head. A little bitterness from the oak. These beers are all marketing.

330ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a finger of white head which settles quickly leaving only traces of lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel with some oak and a trace of rum and mild spice. Taste is a caramel sweetness with traces of oak, rum and spice with a light earthy hop bitterness. Light to medium body and light carbonation. This is an interesting ale which was enjoyable enough, but nothing special.

The aroma is very much like oak aged spice rum with butterscotch and malt. The appearance is amber with a small head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall a very solid ale.

Bottle. Pours a crystal clear deep amber body with a thick, creamy off-white head, looking very nice indeed. Nose is strong vanilla and oak tones with caramel malts and caramel pudding (loads of it here), booze, rum and hints of pepper, butterscotch and sugar. Sweet as hell, but still kind of tantalizing. Taste is sweet vanilla and butterscotch, with caramel pudding, rum and sugary grains in the back. Hints of booze and wood in the finish. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. A bit of a vanilla-and-rum overdose, but since I do have a sweet tooth I’m willing to let some of the madness slide. Nevertheless, it’s a bit too much in the end but definitely a taste-packing brew.

Bottle 33 cl, SB. Pours deep red amber with a nice beige head leaving lace. Aroma is sweet, spicy, ginger, barrel, vanilla and acidy. Flavor is sweet, floral, fruity, spicy, vanilla and bitter. Thin to medium body, a bit boring. Finishes bitter fruity.

330ml bottle. Clear copper colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Aroma has toffee and oak notes, a touch of vanilla. Taste is moderately sweet malty, notes of toffee, oak, a touch of vanilla, a slightly biting mixture of pepper and bitter hop.
