Very smooth beer. I don’t taste the rum flavor, but there is hint of toffee.

Decent though sweet aroma. Dark golden amber with only medium carbonation - very thin off White head . Again sweet taste of toffee. Good palate. Overall reasonable tasting but probably too sweet for me.

27.2.2015. Clear copper orange. Aroma of toffee, vanilla, wood, maybe some spiced rum. Taste has toffee, caramel and vanilla as well, similar to aroma.

A bottle 6,8%. "Innis & Gunn Rum finish". Clear amber color with off-white head. Aroma of caramel and toffee. Taste is sweet and a bit spicy with tiny alcohol finish. Very good beer.

7.4% ABV: 330ml bottle. BBD Sep 15, poured into a Gordon badged thistle shaped glass at home on 6th Mar 15 during a Scottish tasting evening I had with myself. Looked lovely, clear toffee apple red/amber with a creamy head in colour and texture. Caramel and toffee nose, very malty in all aspects. I wanted to find Rum and spices but failed in the aroma. However both Rum and spices did appear in the taste, the flavour was a bit too sweet though, even for my sweet tooth, vanilla notes arriving mid-sip and adding to the sweetness, just when a hop bitterness might have calmed down the whole brew and helped to balance out the sweetness. I actually liked it a lot more than most beers I have had from these guys.

A beer I’d gladly go back to time and time again. Flawless in flavour and fizz.
It’s not one I’d tire of.

Typical Innis & Gunn aroma, toffee, oak, vanilla. getting very slight spiced rum notes. Taste is very similar, toffee being the main player, buttery, creme brûlée, not much rum finish for me. Got a sweet tooth though so its fine with me

We can recognize the Innis & Gunn signature all over this beer: caramel and toffee...only. And that’s the problem with this brewery; same old candy beer all the time.

Pours a brown colour. Taste is sweet and malty, some candy. A fairly typical Innis and Gunn beer

330ml in box, pours clear amber with a small white head, toffee caramel malt, oaky notes and rum, sticky molasses, balaned tidily with a long bitter finish with rum in the aftertaste. Lively carbonated with a light body, thin slighly creamy texture and a crisp finish. Good.

33cl bottle from Aldi, Bracknell. ABV 7.4% A bright golden amber colour with a rapidlly dissipating head and lots of carbonation; rather subdued aroma - some vanilla wood but little else; the taste is a good balance of rum, light spice and vanilla from the wood; the finish has a lingering toasty sweetness. Rather pleasant and well-balanced.
