Bottle: Poured a deep clear light amber color ale with a medium size white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of cereal with some light notes of rum. Taste is also a mix between some cereal with light sweet notes and some light rum notes. Body is about average with some good carbonation. This one works out better then the previous barrel-aged beer they have done.

From a bottle. Pours golden orange with short lasting white head. Aroma of caramel, vanilla and light spice, some vegetal hops. Tastes rank, lots of vanilla, oak, toffee, very unbalanced. Sweet and cloying, doesn’t finish well. Pretty shocking stuff, not into this at all

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MalcolmTucker (299) - SCOTLAND - DEC 31, 2011
Bottle. Pours dark copper with a thin white head. Sweet caramel and mild spice aroma. More of the same in the flavour with the trademark I&G vanilla and oak. Thin body and medium carbonation. Average - just a slight variation on an already well used theme.
