ndia Pale Ale first made its name in the 19th century. Here’s hoping our pioneering IPA can make its mark too.
Its fervent hoppy character hails from the unique addition of large quantities of hops at three separate points during brewing. The result is a beer that’s rounded yet refreshing, with delicate floral notes and oodles of zesty freshness.

Pale gold Smell
Freshly mown grass, clean grapefruit and pine trees
Rich vanilla from the oak, with lots of zestness and a light bitterness from the hops
Full bodies, but still crisp and refreshing.

Aroma: herbal notes, barrel. Appearance: clear golden color, white head. Taste: medium bitterness, herbal notes, oak barrel, slightly sour. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, oak finish. Overall: interesting stuff. Nice combination of oak aged beer with hoppy notes.

11.2 oz. bottle. Pours a clear gold color with a small 1/2" white head. Aroma is sweet malt and caramel with some hops. Light-medium body, taste is a little bland, I was expecting more hops. Not noticing any toasted wood to this. Leans more to the malt side. Not bad, but a little disappointing.

One of those more boring beers here from Innis and Gunn. Some crispy moments combined with a bit of caramel, malt and grain in the aroma. Taste is slightly sweetish but not really hitting the score.

Bottle from Aldi. Pours golden with a frothy white head. The taste is lemony citrus and slightly washing up liquid. Some woody notes in the aftertaste. Light, refreshing and pretty reasonable.

Bottle brought home from the Tesco in Eastbourne. It pours out in a clear dark amber-brown colour with low airy head and medium body. Aroma of hops and malt with some barley hints. Taste of mild hops, malt, wheat, flowers, mild herbs and mild spices. Easy drinkable, yet nothing special.

Tasty, easy drinking IPA. Tastes like a regular lager, lacking the distinct hoppiness and bitterness a associated with IPAs.

Bottle into IPA glass. Pours a brilliant clear gold. Aroma is of slight pine and grapefruit with a touch of oak. Tastes is sweet oak with a slight touch of hops. Not really a six pack beer. But I will drink one. -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10

Gulbrun klar med hvitt skum. Honning, ananas og humlelukt. Lett med mye sitrus, noe bitter. Kunne ønsket mer bitterhet fra en IPA. Medium kullsyre, kort

Uklar lys brun farge med hvitt skum. Lukter noe søtlig malt og hint av humle. Søtlig og syrlig i smak. Lettdrikkelig med godt med kullsyre.
