India Pale Ale first made its name in the 19th century. Here’s hoping our pioneering IPA can make its mark too.
Its fervent hoppy character hails from the unique addition of large quantities of hops at three separate points during brewing. The result is a beer that’s rounded yet refreshing, with delicate floral notes and oodles of zesty freshness.

Pale gold
Freshly mown grass, clean grapefruit and pine trees
Rich vanilla from the oak, with lots of zestness and a light bitterness from the hops
Full bodies, but still crisp and refreshing.

Pours golden with a thick white head. Soft hop notes at immediate taste with almost a vanilla cream flavor long after swallowing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Bottle sampled from notes. Pours a dark golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have grass, some grapefruit citrus, sweet malts, mild oak and vanilla, soft mouthfeel, blah finish.

De geur is heel lekker. De kleur heel lichtblond. De smaak valt heel goed mee voor een ipa.

Bottle LCBO: golden with white head that dissipates rather quickly. Smells like glazed fruit and vanilla with some biscuit notes. The taste has vanilla, malt, sweet corn, steamed veggies, bread, and some wood content, but not nearly enough to call it oak. Oily mouthfeel with a weak finish that leaves something to be desired in terms of bitterness. Not bad; not great.

Subtle, fruity flavor with hints of barrel, peach, orange, light syrup, herbs and vanilla. Serve at 8-10 ° C as a social drink, or cooking.

Lore (2211) - Budapest, HUNGARY - SEP 30, 2016
clear golden colour, moderate sized off-white head; aroma of caramel, wet grains, bread, vanilla, wood notes, some medicinal notes and minimal cardboard; taste of caramel, biscuit, hints of vanilla, minimal smoked woody-whisky like notes; correct beer, will not be my favourite and I’ll not pick it up again if available in a shop, but somehow it is still enjoyable...at one time...

Pours clear golden with a medium white head and decent lacing. Light aroma of citrus, vanilla, wood, spice. Nicely balanced taste, mellow/rounded bitterness getting stronger and lingering for a while in aftertaste. Nice medium to full body, somewhat oily texture, medium carbonation, subtle alcoholic warmth on finish. Not bad, though aroma could be stronger/richer.

2015 BJCP Category: 33A Wood-Aged Beer (base style: 12C English IPA)

AROMA: Light citrus orange scent. Some vanilla/wood character. 7/12

APPEARANCE: Hazy shade of orange. Small white foam mostly dissipates. 1/3

FLAVOR: Orangepeel is the predominant flavor, though actual bitterness is low. Lightly sweet amber malt base is present throughout. Fairly assertive toffee flavor right as it finishes imparts a nice sweetness. Oak character is mild. 13/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium-light body; consistently crisp. Finishes dry with a little astringency. Otherwise smooth and quaffable. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: This is more of an amber or pale ale than an EIPA. Not much wood character, either. Still, it’s enjoyable for it is. 6/10

vinivini (1335) - BELARUS - AUG 19, 2016
Clear golden, medium white frothy head. Stays as a foam layer on liquid surface. Nos of honey, blossom, biscuit. Light to medium body. Oily texture. Bittersweet taste. The malts deliver honeyinsh and biscuity notes. Otherwise the consumer gets proper hop spiciness and floral impression. Well balanced. Well made. Very nice.

Kupione w sklepie nocnym po 4,99 zł. Fajny aromat gumy balonowej, choć trochę słaby (nikły). Wygląd jest nawet ok. Smak jest fajny, rześki, z lekką goryczką. Wyjątkowo pijalne.
