Pours lightly hazy yellow with a large white head. The aroma has pale pils malt, doughy bread and only mild hint of hops - clean and malty. While its medium body it seems full for the style and is quite smooth with a little carbonation on the finish. The flavor starts like the aroma with fully maltiness for a pils. The finish has a bit of spicy grassy hops added to the mix. Quite pleasant.

Pour is a yellow with a large white head. Aroma is of grassy hops and pils malt. Flavor is bone dry pils malt with some hop and white bread. The head on this never goes away. Lots of carbonation but this beer has a decent flavor profile even coming all the way from Germany. Only 11 ratings prior to mine?

Bottle: Big stable rocky white head, golden, light to moderate herbal-hoppy and malty nose; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, pretty soft; slightly lingering dryish hoppy and pale malty finish. Not great, but still O.K. ...

On tap at Gourmet Haus Staudt. Bright clear golden-yellow in color with a nice small but lasting white head. Big aroma of crisp pilsner malt and fresh grassy and floral hops. The flavor is very nice, more or less spot-on for a German pilsner. Slightly sweet pilsner malt, mild breadiness, and nice floral and grassy hops. Very clean and crisp on the mouthfeel with body on the lighter side. A damn, damn good pilsner. Really impressed with this.

Golden with a light sparkle. Thick head. Great, rich hop aroma, deep with a light fruitiness. Rich hop on the palate, too. Bright, cookieish malts. Very well balanced - dry, fresh, sweet all in one. Great pilsner, one of the best on this trip.
