Bottle. A clear one, golden in color and with a minimal-sized white head. Lemonade aroma with a touch of beer, quite artificial. Medium to thin on the palate, with flavors of lemonade and some beer. Lemonade finish. A drinkable one, but rather boring and too artificial. 120219

Bottle: Hazy yellow orange color with a white head. Fruity with the lemonade and a decent wheat and malt note. The fruit blends and balances well and gives it a crisp zesty mouthfeel and light finish. Easy drinking, I can see the allure.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2010 0.5 liters- Shared with poisoneddwarf, thanks- Pours cloudywhite much like a Belgian wit beer, nice carbonation bubbles. Aroma is lemon rhind and stale beer, the flavor is similar lemon with a bland beer as a backup, it has almost a sickly sweetness to it. This is a chugable beer that I personally would never buy.

0.5 L bottle shared with Brenn79. Aroma is lemony; like lemon meringue pie. Pours a hazy yellow with a small head and decent lace. Taste is very sweet with no bitterness. Sugary, even. Tastes like a kid made some lemonade with way too much sugar and then poured it into some weak beer. Highly carbonated with a medium body. Gets to be almost sickingly sweet towards the end. This is only the second shandy I’ve ever had, and I think I prefer Leinenkugel’s.
