500 ml swing-top bottle pours an almost clear dark amber color with minimal white head. Smells of yeast/bread. Aroma is pleasant. with more malts than hops. Body is at least medium with minimal carbonation. It goes down smooth with a slightly creamy texture and no foul aftertastes. Not a favorite style of mine but worth trying.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 crossovert (4772) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 16, 2011
500ml swing-top bottle.
IT pours a clear golden red with a foamy white head that recedes slowly with some nice lacing.
It smells like bread, raisins, and nuts. A good sweet pastry, some people complain that this doesn’t seem like a seasonal, it definitely reminds me of the treats you eat during Christmas time.
The flavor is the same. It is a beautiful bock bier, one of the best I have had. It is so deep and luscious despite only being 5.6% alcohol.
Try it.

( 16.9oz fliptop bottle thanks to bu11zeye) Pours pale yellow with no head but great lacing. Nose of sweet grain, corn, biscuit and alcohol. Taste of sweet syrupy malt, although light/watery. Creamy carbonated finish that has some off flavors here.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden, a bit unclear with a small, but stable white head; moderate grainy-almondy nose with some grassy hops in the background; sweetish-bitter flavour with a light acidity, light to medium bodied; sweetish-grainy, slightly sourish finish with a faint grassy hoppiness in the aftertaste. Drinkable, no wow........
