Has Pilsener written all over it.Beer goes down extremely smooth, quite impressed with the almost creamy mouth feel. Just the right amount of carbonation. Though, a tiny bit of funky bitter prevents the perfect 5 for palate.A pretty balanced, yet simplistic taste profile. Sweet, but not too sweet. Almost fruity and another reviewer mentioned cereal and I can see that - I do pick up some grain. An underrated beer.

Aroma is grain, a little berry.
Taste is sweet grain malt, honey, lightly fruited.
Not bad at first, but the sweetness gets to be a little off-putting.

Clear pale golden colour with a big fluffy white head.
Grainy malty aroma with dryness and mild fruity sweetness. The flavour is dry grainy malty with cardboard and mild notes of metal. Quite simple German Lager.

meh... I think I was expecting more from a helles style. It was fine, other reviews posted here will do it more justice than I care to try and provide. Essentially a nice pilsner with a scoche more character and body.

bottle from Degenhart Passau. Clear pale golden colour, mid-sized white head. Malty base with some dusty hops. Nothing exciting, but solid Helles.

Pour is a dark gold with a average white head. Aroma is hard to detect. Some dry malt is there but not much else. Flavor is a little better. A very nice bone dry helles malt with some bitterness toward the end. No frills but still enjoyable.

Pours golden / amber with a large white head. The aroma is clean and crisp with pale malt, breadiness and fairly rich. Medium body that starts rich, but then gets crisp with the nice semi-sharp carbonation hits. The flavor starts with fairly toasty malt for a helles, smooth lager maltiness, and very full rich flavor. The finish continues with everything in the initial taste, but a hint of hops creeps in. Nice helles.

It’s golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, hay, grain and light celluloses. The sweet flavor has the same notes and the finish is dry and slightly bitter.
