500 ml bottle. BB 04/06/13. From bierundbier.de.
Clear golden colour with a small to average sized frothy white head. Malt, mild honey sweetness and some hops in the aroma. Seems to be quite balanced. The flavour is malty. There’s some sweetness, some dryness and mild hoppy bitterness. Drinkable but nothing else. Boring.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a sweet cereal grain and not much else. Flavor is a decent generic bready malt with a heavier mouthfell than most lagers. Finish has more of the bready malt. It was ok and only 3 bucks. Funny how all the ratings for this beer are from Denmark, Germany or St. Louis.

Really dug this one - think I got it pretty fresh. Pours clear golden with a large white soapy head. The aroma is very bready with minimal toast, cream, light spice and lots of roundedness to everything. Medium / light crisp body with refreshing light carbonation. The flavor begins with the aroma traits, but has more of a snappy crispness, extra spice and is quite refreshing. The finish has a bit of grass and pepper as well as clean dough malt mixed in. Really nice zwickel.

It’s dark golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of celluloses, hay, malt, dusty grain and the sweet flavor has malty notes of grain, bread, light citrus and the finish is dry and slightly bitter.
