1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Lowe1983 (1246) - Dayton, USA - FEB 5, 2012
Pours a darker golden color with a white head. Aroma is of grass, hay, and not much else. Watered down flavor with earthy tones and some grass. Not really much flavor at all.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 kramer (3459) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 6, 2012
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear dark gold body with a minimal fizzy white head. The nose is of stale wet grain and some light corn, minimal to no hops present. The flavor is much the same, there is nothing crisp about this at all, despite what the commercial description says. I’m surprised that this is even lagered, there’s a level of fruitiness that just doesn’t fit. Completely lacking in hops, leaving the finish to be dominated by wet hay and corn. Light bodied and fizzy. This isn’t the worst beer ever, but it certainly isn’t a good Pilsner.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 MattShizzle (458) - Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 9, 2012
Bottle - from sampler pack. Light golden color, clear, fizzy. Slightly hoppy, clean aroma. Bland flavor. Not too good. Not much better than typical US mass market lagers.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Ughsmash (5836) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 5, 2011
Bottled. Poured clear light-medium golden with a tight-bubbled, stark white head. The aroma picked up sweetened lemons over honey and lesser bready malts.. a little flaked corn too.. quite clean, but not intriguing. The flavor opened with prickly carbonation and a little lemon zest.. generic pale malts and a little honey at the core.. sweetened lemon again on the dry, somewhat scratchy finish.. more honey and corn back there as it warmed up.. again serviceable, but nothing special. Light-bodied and dry on the palate.. a bit too much carbonation.. too sweet where it should’ve been crisp.. overall OK, but I don’t need another.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 steelhead3686 (149) - Athens, Ohio, USA - SEP 29, 2011
Pours a clear yellow with a medium white head. Has a light malt aroma of a pilsner. It hits the tongue quite sweet and stays that way throughout. The body is light and thin with a refreshing carbonation. Nothing special in the least bit. Come on PA
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 cheapdark (2965) - Quiptown & Central Valley, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 24, 2011
If this is a pilsner, its rather mild and lemon fruity. More like a lighter pale yellow lager. Looks pretty good in the glass. Not bad overall with a slight processed feel about. Nipping co2 and I like that. Goes down fairly easy, i can appreciate the low alky content. Somewhat soda watery at times, but in a good way. Finsh is smoothing yet grating.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 MrBunn (2053) - Western, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 30, 2011
Bottle. Pours a clear gold with little head and sweet honey bun aromas with lots of silo dust. Flavor is heavy with apple juice and honey and little else to mention.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 FROTHINGSLOSH (3388) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 25, 2011
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a medium sized soapy yellow-white head that faded quickly. The aroma was dryish, tart and a bit tangy with industrial overtones and not much else going on. The flavor was tart, bitter and had faint notes of lemon and floral hops. Short finish. Utterly forgettable.

this beer had that distinct rot-gut taste. i would not be surprised if it was simply lionshead.

I’m not a big Pilsner fan and this didn’t change my mind. Light aroma with a bit of hops. Flavor is week and lager like. Looks OK.
