Bottle that I took to a tasting at James’ place. Pours a clear gold. Warm caramel apple, more caramel, true caramel, than most other ice ciders I’ve had. Warm apple, touches of caramel and light acid. Long sugared caramel apple. Lingering acid. Great.

Dark golden ice cider. Aroma is apple juice, alcohol and sugar with a hint of honey. Flavor is sweet apple juice, apple sauce, honey, moderate floral notes and a hint of acidity. Medium body with a slightly liquorous mouthfeel.

A dark golden cider with apple puree aroma, burned caramelized notes, powdery. In mouth, a smooth ice cider with sweet sugar, light acidity, loads of alcohol in finale. Mondial des cidres de glace, Feb. 12 2011.

Mondiale 08. Supposedly 7 differetn apples go into making this one and is 10.5% abv. Pours a very light straw color some nice thick legs. Aroma is very sweet on teh honey side with modest to high apple must as well, some red skin some tannin, hint of pear and green apple as well. Flavor has a decent acidity to cut the thick apple syrup and honey aspects, green apple skin, some tannin, leads to a dry slightly astringent finish in the end- Not bad, just not as good as some of the classics.

[1489-20080601] Bottle. Burnt natural gas fumes aroma has weird cut grass accents. Clear, golden yellow body with no head. Nice sweet apples and more juicy juicy apples in the flavour. Medium body. What a great taste!

2008-06-01. Golden yellow body. Mild aroma, sweetish fruity apple, light must touches. (6+) Tart apple skins up front, sweet fruity apple middle, quite sweet in the finish. Bouteille de 375 ml (10.5%), acheté au Marché des Saveurs (Marché Jean-Talon, Montreal) en mars 2008, bu ce soir. Jaune claire, peu liquereux. Arome de pommes sucré avec un peu d’alcool. Goût de pommes un peu acides, une touche d’alcool sucré. Cidre de glace très simple, rien de spécial mais normalement ils sont de producteur d’hydromiel. Fait intéressant, Marc (Taktik) et moi, on est les premiers à donné une "rating", pres deux ans après sa sortie!
