2010 Vintage brought by my good friend Yann. Pours a rich dark amber, the nose is reminiscent of a Port Wine. The alcohol is strong, warm and balances out the sweetness. Very liquorish and sweet, but not overwhelming. Five years gives it more corpus, and enhaces its drinkability. Very good. Cheers!

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2013 Clear cola brown with a sticky aroma like dark malt syrup, oak, and a touch of honey and maple syrup. Flavor is decadent with malt syrup (or something akin), oak, vanilla, sweet honey, and a little oaked molasses.

Very much as you would imagine a mead to be - quite different from the polish meads. Big sweet, honey nose and a whiff of alcohol. Smooth, fullish body, sweet honey, caramel, some vanilla and a lovely sweet finish. Very balanced. Top stuff.

Bomber, a lot of honey. It has a good aroma, it has a natural darker colour. Very sweet, very good a swallow at a time. Smooth drinking.

50 ml bottle (about 2 oz) bought at Intermiel in Mirabel (Quebec) on September 25, 2010. Golden hazelnut, a lot of trace. A lot of alcohol vapor, woody aroma of honey. Sweet honey taste, quite melow, thick sour fruitiness. Quite an appérétif!
