tiggmtl (4178), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Sep 19, 2006 Floral, perfume-like, almost nutty aroma. Clear ruby tinged body with excellent legs on the glass. Perfumey, lightly spicy, sweet and floral with light balancing tartness in the finish. Lasting fruity sensation in the aftertaste. Medium body is never cloying and alcohol is never notable. Sampled at Mondial 2006. tomthompson89 (1149), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 25, 2008 had with John from Churchkey, thanx for sharing. lovely pink color, no head nose is cranberry, and perfumy flowers rosepedals. love the rosewater flavor. not too cloying, well done, probably the best mead i have ever had. heemer77 (3752), Savannah, Missouri, USA Jun 5, 2006 Sampled at Mondial 2006. A medum red almost pink type coloring. The aroma was deifnitely roses with apples and the honey. There was some hint of tartness. The taste was very sweet with roses and cherries. There was some peach in the aftertaste. muzzlehatch (4424), Burlington, Vermont, USA Jun 10, 2006 Sample from the bottle (375 ml) at the Mondial de la Bière in Montreal, 2006. Supple legs slide gradually down the glass into the pale berry-pink, oily-thick translucent body....faint sour cranberries and white grapes are apparent in the strongly floral, sweet nectar hitting the nose....the flavor profile is very potent and forward, with very tart/sour fresh cranberry mashing hard on sweet clover honey, and alcoholic bitterness showing up late to muddle things a bit.....huge thick finish, massively tart and honey-vanilla simultaneously, very long aftertaste. A gem. jimmack (1212), Nutley, New Jersey, USA Mar 6, 2007 Bottle thanks to RLB. Clear, dark pink color with decent legs. Aroma is floral and sweet, with cranberry notes, honey and apple. I did not get any of the tartness in the flavor that others have mentioned. Sweet flavor of honey, grape jelly, cran-apple and rose hips.
