8/18/12. On tap at the brewpub. Orange pour with a decent khaki head. Hoppy aroma that is quite dank with some pine and citrus. Hop kick in the flavor as well with more dankness, pine, and some citus. Malt backing shows as well. Not bad.

Tap at Intuition. Pours a hazy deep orange with decent head formation. Mild peach and vinegar nose with intense citrus and floral hop character. Taste is cheesy, cheesecloth (stale hoppiness), spicy gingery. Big nutty hop bitterness. Pretty overwhelming- 100 IBU plus with nut skins and tree bark bitterness. Not a lot of balance.

One of the better double IPA’s I have come across. Pours a hazy light amber with white head. Aroma is very strong of fresh hops and citrus. Tastes has great hop character and bitterness, grapefruit and other citrus, a little malt backbone, and finishes clean. Overall, I love the hop punch as well as the drinkability of this dipa.
