Pours a cloudy golden with a pillowy cream-white head. Citrusy nose. Astringent mouthfeel. Citrus flavor with a less than adequate malt backbone.

Keg at the brewery, 19/02/15. Clear golden amber topped with moderate off white spotting. Nose is juicy hops, citric peel, light pine, straw, toasted malt. Taste comprises orange pith, grapefruit, pine needle, tangerine, mandarin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a hoppy linger. Decent enough IPA.

On tap at the Jax Mellow Mushroom. The best of the lot we drank that day. I like this brewery! Very rich creamy beer, beautiful hop aroma and thick head with fantastic lacing. Yes to another one.

Pleasant but not overly hopped IPA. Good on a hot day. Not quite as good as my standard from stone brewery ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

can @ Grassroots Natural Market / Jacksonville FL --- Clear deep orange-copper amber, solid smooth white head, sheets of lace. Aroma of mild hops and malt. Taste is caramel malt that adds citrus hops and carbonation on the swallow, moving smartly to a finish in which the hops dominate at first, but as it fades, the malt can be tasted in the background. A solid, big-bodied, cleansing, tasty IPA. Recommended.

chinchill (3013) - South Carolina, USA - MAR 25, 2015
on tap at the brewery (from May 2012 notes) Poured a crystal clear amber with a very durable off-white head that left good lacing. Aroma and flavor reflect more piney than citrusy hops; so not my ideal. Some herbal aspects mid-taste on. Moderately bitter (for style). Body is smooth but a tad too light. Very good carbonation. O: a solid IPA with no apparent flaws but not particularly outstanding in any way.

Pours a slightly hazy orange golden color with just off-white head. Citrus, floral pine and grassy notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a nice resinous hop bite and a bit of hop spice.

Can at home while visiting Jacksonville. Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Big fresh piney lemon hoppy aroma. Medium body, medium carbonation. Piney resinous stuff, lemon, grapefruit, light lemon sherbet... Not particularly complex but solid - nice bitter finish.

On tap at brewery. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy off white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is floral hop and pine. Thin mouth with sweet pine and light resin.
