pint at the brewery taproom. Had this while attending the October meeting of the CASK Homebrewers Club. I mostly wanted to see how it compared to my own Kolsch homebrew. It was OK, a reasonably good session beer. However, I much prefer my own homebrew. I suppose that is the position taken by most home brewers. Prost!

On tap at the tasting room in Jacksonville. Dark gold pour, light white head. Slight floral aroma, hint of spice. Flavor has some graininess to it with some underlying buttery notes and a back end soft spiciness - reminiscent of saffron. Crisp mouthfeel. Good session starter.

Pours light gold with thick white head. Aroma is sweet malts. Taste is medium sweetness, lightly bitter, salty, with a somewhat odd maltiness on the back end. It’s ok.

Draft. Pours slightly hazy yellow with frothy off-white head; good retention and lacing. Aroma is cereal malt, straw, butter, and light floral hops. Flavor is sweet malt, floral/earthy hops, and light fruit esters. Light body, medium carbonation, and low warmth.

On draft at Intuition. Pours a light yellow with a white head. Nose is sweet malt, a light fruitiness, and some mild grassy hops. Flavor is similar- sweet malt, hint of light fruit and yeast esters followed by light hops. Light in body and at 4.5%, I could take down more than a few. I am not a kolsch fan, but this one is pretty cool.

on tap @GABF-pours yellow with a rich offwhite head. Aroma is fruity, light malt. Taste is sweet fruity hops, light malt.

Pour is a coppery gold with decent lacy white head. Smell is butter tin and light raspberry? Taste is crisp light butter slightly metallic with this weird light red fruit or strawberry finish. On tap at kickbacks.

Golden yellow reminds me of hay. Very thin head. Not a bad tasting beer, drinkable. I had no problems with a funky/bacteria taste that another reviewer reported.

Tap at Green Room Brewing in Jax Beach, FL. Poured an unclear yellow with small, white lace. Nose is salt and vinegar potato chips- probably acetobacter infection. Taste is salt and vinegar potato chips with cornmeal. Chalky mouthfeel with stinging vinegar. Drain pour. Needs a lot of work.
