On tap at the brewery. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma of chocolate malt, roasted malt, caramel. Flavor of lots of chocolate malt and roast/charred malt. Almost like a hearty porter with all the roasted notes. Minimal sweetness. Very drinkable for the abv. 8/4/8/4/14 (3.8/5)

Tap at pele wood fired in Jacksonville. Pours black with brown thick head. Nose is coffee and testosterone. Smooth and full bodied with well balanced cocoa to balance the awesomeness. Some brown sugar to finish. ---Rated via my mouth

Draft at proof. Black pour small tan head. Aroma of roasted grains coffee chocolate some notes of caramel. Good mouth feel well balanced. Pronounced bitterness leads to a dry finish. Taste wouldn’t make me think imperial but still very tasty. Definitely worth having again.

Pours dark black with almost no head and very thin lacing. Smell is heavy roasted malt, hint of smoke, chocolate. Taste is dark roasted malt, a bit smoky, earthy wood notes, hint of molasses. Expected a lil more for being Imperial, but pretty tasty.

Growler shared thanks to marshal_zhukov! Pours a thick black with bubbly tan head that dissipates to leave good lace. Aroma is sweet molasses, chocolate, nice roast middle, and a hint of smoke on the back end. Taste follows, more roast than sweet, hint of woodiness. Good stuff.

Opaque black. Really dry for an imperial. Coffee roast in the nose. Solid but not a stellar version of the style.

Draft. Poured a black color with an average frothy tan head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted chocolate sweet malt aroma. Medium to heavy toasted chocolate sweet malt flavor with a medium to heavy dark sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is a solid beer.
