Cocoa malty aroma and flavor. Slight sweet finish. Full bodied and smooth. Nice imperial stout. Not too thick, so easy drinking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can. Glossy black pour with decent tan head. Aroma is smooth roast. Mild roast, smooth, and easy to drink for such high alcohol.

Can poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering brown head. Aromas of roasted malt, brown sugar, coffee and bitter chocolate. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, bakers cocoa, coffee and earthiness with a smooth lingering roasty finish.

Pours almost black, with tan head. Aroma of malts and dark fruits. Taste is rich and stouty, with notes of brown sugar and burnt barley. Not a bad stout. Also not all that complex for an imperial. Can’t give this one a thumbs up....

Keg at the brewery tap, 19/02/15. Black topped with a tan covering. Nose is light roast, charr, cocoa powder, not a whole lot going on. Taste comprises earthy roast, chocolate, touch of hoppage, spice, earthy. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, over carbed, semi drying close peppered with roasted tones. Low end for the style, never gets out of first gear @pedestrian impy.

12 oz. can via trade. Pours dark brown to black in color with a medium sized fluffy khaki colored head. The aroma is almost all chocolate with a hint of coffee. The flavor has a big dark chocolate component, coffee, hints of sweeter milk chocolate, roasted malt, mild to moderate roasted bitterness to the finish, creamy mouthfeel and easy to drink. A session imperial stout perhaps?

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a glass. Black with small light brown head. Aroma is dark malt, medium body, low carbonation, and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is dark malt, ash, caramel malt, some herbal hops, some dark chocolate, pretty dry finish. Not my thing.

can @ Grassroots Natural Market / Jacksonville FL --- Opaque brown/black color, big smooth 1" brown head, sheets of lace. Taste is toasted malt with chocolate and coffee that moves through the palate to a mildly hopped finish. A modicum of alcohol warmth well after the swallow. A solid Stout.
