4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 AWISLguy (665) - Wisconsin, USA - APR 3, 2013
On tap at Vine & Barley. Pours a very dark brown with a tannish head. Aroma is of chocolate, coffee and caramel, with charcoal. Taste is of choco/caramel with rich roasted malts. Body was medium to full. Lot of flavor. Finishes smoothly sweetly rich with just that tick of roughness from the "charcoal". A nice one that I enjoyed, with ck1, Eric and Ken. Should look for more from this brewer.

On tap at V&B. Black pour with an off white head. Dark roasted malt and coffee aromas. Good body, balance, and carbonation. All kinds of dark roasted malts and baker’s chocolate with subtle black coffee and caramel undercurrents. A very nice stout...

Tried as a sampler. A lot of malt taste that just sits on the tounge. It's a good stout.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 chinchill (579) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 16, 2012
On tap at brewery. Arrives, nearly opaque and nearly black, but with deep red-brown highlights that revealing a clear liquid. The modest tan head leaves excellent lacing. Good medium-low carbonation. Smooth.
Surprised by the rich flavor of this stout, not knowing at first it was an Imperial. Less complex, but otherwise nearly up with world class beers of this style. Both expresso and a little smokey on the nose, but barely noticeable in tasting. No burnt notes despite a nicely dark roast flavor. Fine, lingering flavor of dark roast.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 drowland (4988) - Jacksonville, Florida, USA - JUL 14, 2012
7/14/12. Growler I picked up from the brewery. Black pour with a nice tan head. Nice roasted aroma with chocolate and coffee and a definite brown sugar/honey aspect. Slightly sweet entry with chocolate and some lingering coffee and sweet sugars. Nice creamy aspect as well. Nice!
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 burg326 (2326) - Florida, USA - MAR 12, 2012
On tap at Brass Tap for Local Takeover Night, poured a dark black color, aromas of coffee, roasted malt, touch of vanilla, and a kiss of ash. Flavors are a nice blend of the aroma, real nice stout, thinner than expected but still real good overall. Glad this one was on, one of the better ones on that night.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Jlo7399 (217) - Florida, USA - JAN 10, 2012
Pours black with thin tan head. Aroma is roasted malts. Taste is sweet chocolate, roasted malts and a bit of coffee. Palate is thinner than expected, but doesn’t hurt it. One of my favorites from Intuition.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 markwise (3803) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - JAN 9, 2012
On draft at Intuition. Pours a medium stout brown with a tan head. Nose is chocolate, slight roast, cocoa, and hints of earth with sweetness. Flavor is similar- roast and earth in front with dark chocolate and sweetness (brown sugar/ molasses?) coming next followed by a finish of roast and ash. interesting stout, never would have guessed it was 8%.
