Tallahassee, Fl. - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Betton - growler. Pours a dark black with some violet tints, initial white creamy white head, fades quickly. Nice bittersweet chocolate and creosote aroma. Flavor as some nice bittersweet chocolate notes, a touch of creosote and licorice, a touch of brown sugar. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Pretty decent.

Not that boozy, a decent stout with a bit of barrel flavor. Pretty nice but not super exciting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is a bit sugary, boozier than you might expect from the abv. Sweet caramel, burnt, sweet finish that’s a little acidic. Not a fan.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma of chocolate malt, roasted malt, caramel. Flavor of lots of chocolate malt and roast/charred malt. Almost like a hearty porter with all the roasted notes. Minimal sweetness. Very drinkable for the abv. 8/4/8/4/14 (3.8/5)
