Easy-drinking English-style bitter brewed for Movember Jax. Brewed with all English malts (English pale malt, English crystal malt and English black malt). English hops used for bittering and for flavor. Since Movember originated in Australia we fermented this ale with Coopers Sparkling Ale yeast strain.

Keg at the brew pub, 19/02/15. Clear golden with little in the way of a head. Nose is musty, toffee, fruit rinds, light orchard notes. Taste comprises dark fruits, caramel, biscuit malt, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Sub par for style ... one for ye olde caske program me thinks!

I’ve never tasted anything labeled an Australian bitter. I guess this is what it tastes like. Very drinkable.

Slightly grassy aroma. Light caramel color. Hops dominate, but not overly bitter. Thin.

11/6/12. On tap at the brewery. Hazy orange pour with a nice khaki head. There is definitely a hint of rubber in the aroma as well as a bit of biscuit, caramel, and leafy hops. That slight rubber aspect comes through in the flavor as well with a touch of tartness, biscuit, and lingering hoppiness.

Pours a hazy copper color with white head. Aroma is bready malts. Taste is bready malts and a little sweetness. Malts stick to the tongue as it goes down. A very sessionable beer.
