Our flagship beer is an American-style pale ale that is inspired by the hoppy pale ales of the West Coast. Features two-row malted barley, caramel malt, and wheat malt. Magnum hops for bittering and the traditional pale ale hops of Centennial and Cascade for flavoring and crisp, citrus aromas.

pint at a Florida pub very near brewery (from March 2011 notes). . A fine clear amber color covered by a thin head that soon dissipates to some islands and a ring, but leaves some lacing on glass. {a second sample several monthas later had a more durable head). Dark for a pale ale, the appearance accurately indicates a boldy flavored pale ale. A nice hoppy aroma with obvious citrus and piney notes. The flavor is more citrusy and less piney than the aroma. It is also more hoppy than their Simcoe IPA (consumed just 2 days earlier). Its really quite bitter and hoppy for a pale ale and will appeal to many people who like IPAs. Good to very good, but I’d like it better with a bit more malt.

Can at home while visiting Jacksonville. Pours amber with a slightly off white head. Quite a malty cake aroma with cookie dough and lemon. Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Biscuit, light caramel, lemon, light grapefruit, toast, a little metallic... Its OK.

Pours a clear coppery amber color with white head. Citrus, floral notes, and a bit of hop spice on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a modest amount of malt, letting you know it’s a pale and not an IPA. Very nice.

can @ Grassroots Natural Market / Jacksonville FL --- Clear medium amber color, full 1" smooth white head, bands and blobs of lace. Aroma of citrus. Taste is full-bodied sweet malt that adds hops on the swallow, with both sides moving tofgether through a long finish. A very well done American Pale Ale

12 ounce can pours a light copper yellow color with a off-white head that dissipates but leave some lacing. A nice lemony citrus aroma. High-level of carbonation. Very nice flavor with a bit of bite from hop bitterness. Tastes like the I 10's little brother. Nice easy drinking beer.

can. clear copper with a small off white head. mild toasty notes and medium color caramel with floral and citrusy hop aromas. bold belgian and english crystal malts provide a flavor sweetness(and some toast) that needs a big hop addition to cut through and this beer delivers. medium full bodied...its a meaty pale ale.

Rated on 02-24-2013 at Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar (Jacksonville, FL) This draft beer is presented with a small head that mostly diminishes, transparent golden body, no visible carbonation observed, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is orange citrus, fruity and caramel malt. The flavor is lightly bitter, orange citrus and caramel malt. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. This beer has a nice hop flavor and is worth trying.
