3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 GT2 (3970) - USA - DEC 24, 2010
Tap at the brewery in Jax. Poured a clear, glowing, orange amber with a thin white head. No retention or lace. Aroma of malt extract, floral hops, sweet orange, sickly orange candies. Taste is heavily nutty bitter, walnut skin bitter. Mouthfeel is chalky, spritzy, lots of seltzer and tonic water.

Golden-amber. The aroma is quite toasty with lots of earthy hops. Quite dry and well-balanced. Good pale, drinkable and executes on this pocket of pale quite well.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 hopscotch (7535) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 20, 2012
Draft… CCB Hunahpu’s Day 2012... Clear, textbook amber ale with a small, wispy, white head. Good retention. The bouquet is a satisfying marriage of cookie and caramel malts to floral, citrusy hops. Medium to full-bodied with stinging carbonation. Citrus bitterness supported by caramel and toffee sweetness lends to a nicely rounded flavor that tilts only slightly toward the bitter side of balance. Short, crisp, clean finish. Excellent, refreshing American pale ale.

On tap at Brass Tap for Local Takeover Night, poured a nice dark amber color, with aromas of sweet malt, toasted caramel, citrus, and pine hops. Flavor is lots of malt, caramel, and citrus. Nice sessionable beer that I wish they sold down here.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Beershine (4741) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - MAR 11, 2012
Draft at 7venth sun. Dark pure amber glass. Scattered lacing. Toasted caramel malts, and friendly English hops. Sweet malt sugar undercurrent, and a crisp, dryly bitter, hoppy finish makes for an exquisite balance even an Englishman would like. Well-constructed, solid. The name says it all. This is a very accessible, no-nonsense beer. More, please!
