COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our seasonal Belgian-style dubbel pumpkin beer. We added 80 pounds of pumpkin to the mash and another 20 pounds to the kettle and used specially a formulated pumpkin pie spice blend to add hints of nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice. Aged on vanilla beans for 10 days.

Rated at tap room. Taste of raw pumpkin and lacks the intrigue of other pumpkin brews. Smooth enough for being so raw.

On tap at brewery. Pours a cloudy copper with beige head. Aroma is spice pumpkin. Medium mouth light spice, pumpkin, and cinnamon.

Pours a cloudy brown on tap with fluffy tan head that leaves light lace. Aroma is Belgian yeast mixed with cinnamon and nutmeg. Taste is a nice mixture of Belgian peppery esters and banana over pumpkin pie spice with a hint of sweet malt. Good carbonation, definitely a cool take on the typical pumpkin beer.

Cinnamon aroma with an opaque copper color. Malty base that is well balanced by the hops. Aftertaste of hops and alcohol lingers a little too long.

Orangey amber in color, hazy. Light tan head with decent lacing. Aroma was highly spiced, and a faint earthy pumpkin notes. I got some caramel kind of notes as well. Taste was a bit odd. Highly spiced as well, the pumpkin flavor seemed manufactured. Highly carbonated which made this beer dance on the tongue.

Draft at Brewfest. Brown pour with a bubbly white head. Aroma of candy sugary, dark fruit, baking spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and toffee malt. Flavor is pretty similar with a lively body. Not bad.

Brown pour with creamy off white head and lace. Aroma is cinnamon and maybe nutmeg. A sweet mix of flavors that seems to start at clove and end up somewhere around cinnamon. Medium bodied but fizzy.

never really have enjoyed dubbels on the whole but a twisted version, i’ll give it a go .. . whats another word for brown, because thats what colour it is on the pour .. . medium foam .. . light mouth .. . molasses mostly .. . its alright but not really feeling it .. . . I love Butterstuff.

Draft to taster at Intuition. Looks solid; really good actually, but dark for the style. Cola with thin off-white lacing. Smells and tastes solid; dark fruit. Average on the palate. A good (albeit different) example of the style.
