COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our first Imperial/ Double IPA weighs in at 8.7% Alcohol and 95 IBUs. Aroma and flavors of tropical fruit, citrus peel and pine needles dominate this brew. We’re not talking subtle nuances here, people. It’s all about cramming as much hop aroma and flavor into the beer as possible. Two-row malted Barley, Belgian Caramunich and Victory malt were used to create a malt backbone that can handle 40 pounds of seven different hops and two dry hop additions.

Tap at Intuition. Sticky white head atop a hazy, pinkish orange. Vinegary strawberry aroma. Taste is tart, big strawberries, lots of white sugar, big cheesy hops, big alcohol kick. Your typical less than super fresh DIPA with massive cheesy hops. Dry, bitter, resinous palate. Moderate apricot comes through in the finish.

Draft at Kickbacks. A hazy gold pour with a thick white head. Secent is citrus and caramel. Taste is piney, citrus and some sweetness.

Pint at the brewery tap room. My first beer of the night and I wanted to start it off with a bang. Mission accomplished. Bright hazy golden beer whth a big white head. Strong aroma of citric hops, very pleasing. Very tasty with flavors of sweet pale malts, tropical fruits, pine, and grapefruit. Excellent balance in a huge beer. ABV listed as 8.74% on the bar’s display board. I enjoyed this one a lot.
