Ondraftat the brewery, poured a coperish color with aromas of caramel, pine, light booze, and a kiss of citrus. Flavors follow suit, light barrel sweetness in the flavor, with some light citrus and a lot of caramel and pine. Interesting beer overall, and it worked inmybook.

8/18/12. On tap at the brewpub. Clear amber pour with a nice khaki head. Rich earthy, piney hops with plenty of caramel maltiness to back it up. Slightly sweet entry with more citrus hops, followed by piney hops, caramel malts, sugar, and a lingering dryness. Not a ton coming from the wood/barrels that I pick up. Not bad otherwise!

Pours a light amber with white head. Aroma is floral and piney hops, citrus, and a little booziness from the bourbon. The bourbon smooths out the hops nicely. One of my favorites from intuition.
