On draft at brewery poured a cloudy golden yellow color with aromas of light fruity esthers, some spicy rye, and some yeast. Flavors were the same light fruit up front followed by some yeast and rye, a nice take on a sassion.

Pours hazy yellow with thick white head. Aroma is rye spice and hay. Taste is peppery with a bite, but refreshing. Not my favorite, but definitely worth a try.

This is a delicious and refreshing beer with a bit of the unexpected thrown in. It is largely a saison and drinks like one too, but the addition of the rye really adds to the flavor in the best way

Pours a hazy yellow orange on tap with dissipating off-white head and light lacing Aroma is fruity esters and phenolic alcohol from the yeast, plus a peppery, spicy back bone from the rye. Taste is all that, but much more present on all accounts than the nose. Pretty good for what it is, an odd combination.

A little weak on the nose but other than that a really good saison. Nice body and decent depth of flavor. One of their better brews, and 8%!

9/21/12. On tap at the brewpub. Hazy orange pour with a nice khaki head. Big ester and spicy phenolic aroma, touches of rubber, but mostly a good spice character. Sweet and slightly tart flavor with more fruity esters including banana and some tropical fruits. Not bad.
