COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our "Silvertown Ale" is our version of a Kentucky Common. It is a slightly sour cold fermented ale brewed with malted barley, malted rye and flaked corn. The mash was allowed to sit over night and sour slightly. Created for the Jacksonville Historical Society and named after the old name for the neighborhood Intuition is located.

On draft at brewery poured an amber color with aromas of corn, booze, wood and some ligt malt. Flavors are the same corn, toffee and wood with a light boozy aftertaste.

1/22/13. On tap with the stud that rated it below me. Lightly hazed amber pour with a nice khaki head. Light aroma with a touch of booze, corn, toffee, and a touch of a certain woodiness. The flavor is also somewhat light and parallels everything in the aroma. Unique and very interesting.

Pours a hazy orange on tap with a fluffy off-white head that dissipates to leave moderate lacing. Aroma is slight bretty sour, but mostly sweet and pale lager malts. Taste is interesting, a slight sour lager with floral hop notes. A sour that has been aged for a single day, interesting to say the least.

On tap in a 27 oz mug. Murky orange with thin off-white clingy head. Slightly sour lactic smell. Sweet upfront malt taste, fades to a lagery corn. Light hop flavors, not much bitterness Med body. Overall very interesting, I don't have a baseline to compare this too.
